It is unfortunate that this incident serves to bring any substantial credit to the legal system in the State of Washington. Some will call it vigilante justice, some will say that the "victim" of the slaying is actually the suspect who was shot and killed. Legally, the guy is innocent until proved guilty. We all know this rule of law. However, do you think he would have ever paid for his crimes? I suggest that he would have been placed in a mental health facility at great expense to the taxpayers.

Maybe justice was inadvertently served by the shooting.

Thank you for the information.

The only thing amazing about these events is that most people are more interested in an affair, a water hydrant, an escalade, and a golf club! Geeeeez!

trashing somebodies home then just walking away does police services the world over no good at all ~ it happens here in the u.k. its simply wrong

shooting a man dead is very convenient for police and court services but why are civillians allowed guns in the first place

had the general pubic not been allowed such lax access to weapons these unfortunate police officers would probably still be with us

These things are happing all over the world most days of the week. There seems to be an attitude of "Well, theres not much we can do, and the victim is a least important in most cases. the perpettrator of most crimes get psychiatric help, comminuty service, lock up in a psychiatric hospitalas being "off his head at the time", drugs and alcohol or schizophrenic being a modern excuse. Its shocking an unacceptable but nobody seems to do anything any more.

Here once again, we have children that will suffer, grow up without a father / mother, never have the one bringing them into this world to hold them, hug and love them....

I agree with the comment we have jails full of non violent white collar people, while in prison, they are paying NO retribution, no child support and it cost the tax payers (in California) 48,000.00 per year to house and feed them...

Where has common sense gone? I just want to cry when I think about the kids getting the shaft....It sucks big time...

tis a tragedy indeed...justice was terrible and swift for this madman...blackwater gut...GET OVER IT! It didn't happen in the UK...maybe th epeople in your country dont' deserve to own weapons but the main reason we are guaranteed the right to keep and bear arms is because of the tyranny of YOUR government and to be assured that will never happen again...at one point in history...it repeately sickens me to see you and people like you from different parts of the world pick and prod at our freedoms and guaranteed rights only to turn to our government for protection whe you get your asses in a crack...
make no mistake...had I had the opportunity to exact justice to this madman that the officer he met in his final moments did...there would have been no hesitation...I hope the day does not come to you in your safe little world in the UK that you suffer at the hands of tyrants, madmen or anarchists (is there a difference?)
In the meantime we are what we are...guaranteed the right to keep and bear arms by our constitution...as ABJ stated about another issue..."we all know this rule of law".
Mr. Huckabee is guilty as hell of being compassionate, forgiving and trusting, as are many others in the justice system that let this man slip through.
This man had stated he was going to go kill some cops...no one believed him...I have a very similar story to tell of a man years ago that had made a similar threat and got it at least halfway carried out at the cost of one victim's and his own life...mine was spared...I would encourage everyone to take every verbalized threat of violence serious...this story is told too often...
I would ask blackwater guy and others that condemn gun owners for excersizing their right because a madman gets ahold of a weapon and does the unthinkable, do you really think violence will ever be exorcised from human nature? I'd ask you to look at the Scots for an example...they have no guns...their weapon of choice for murder is a knife...diffeent stories for different parts of the world...
carry on soledad...thanks for the report please forgive me for the hijack
