Huh????????????????????

I was with a five year old girl and her mother yesterday. The little girl was cutting shapes out of paper. She would cut out a shape and we had to guess what it was. We were not very good at guessing to say the least. She cut out a boat and a bow. Then she cut out one more shape.

Her mother and I guessed a rectangle

"A flower petal"

"No"

"A door"

"No"

"A window"

"No"

"A bed"

"No"

"A rug"

"No"

"We give up."

Kids, you don't know whether to believe them or not, but they are always imaginative.

In their own way they are very honest - it is just from a different perspective

When my younger son was 2 yrs, and my older one was 20, the older one told me that having conversations with the younger one really kept him on his toes - the conversations would suddenly go off in all sorts of directions.
