Some of my thoughts on Long Distance Relationship's...

I have been in a long distance relationship before..have seen some LDRs work, and some fail..and here are some tips that made and broke them:

TRUST - agree with your partner NEVER to take anyone's word against you, and NEVER take anyone's word against your partner..intrigues are an integral part of human relations and they are unavoidable, esp if the coupleship is known to all.

COMPLETION - it is unwise to expect another human being to provide you happiness, completion, entertainment...be complete in yourself...don't expect all your needs to be filled by your partner..whether long distance or not, the tendency to need like this, is not healthy and will most likely lead to tears.

JEALOUSY - jealousy is part of a relationship, but if mishandled, can drive the partner away..it will be wise to set a schedule for communication ( via phone or online ) to avoid misunderstanding..paranoia has no place in a healthy relationship.

INTEGRITY - be true, stay true, stay faithful.

UNDERSTANDING and COMMUNICATION - always try to see what the partner is goin through, always seek to understand, rather than simply argue.

KINDNESS - above all else, ALWAYS STAY KIND..don't burn bridges, never use words to hurt/wound, and never talk negatively about ur partner to anyone..bcoz words are powerful and cannot be taken back.

there are others who have important tips too..pls feel free to share them with us.

and to those in an LDR...the very best of luck!!!
Drew

Don,
In my case, ONLY for distance...DISTANCE between WE!
I accept! Is the LIFE...Life is life...
