The Gripes of

Are any of you as tired as I am about that annoying, obnoxious noise which is emitted from cars and is known as ""? I often wish I could invent some kind of electronic device which would short out the offender's stereo system via remote control and render it useless. I'd be a millionaire overnight if this were possible. Do you ever wonder if these fans of this noise suffer from hearing loss? The so called "lyrics" themselves are offensive and profane and I believe prolonged listening to this junk is guaranteed to make the affectionado even more ignorant than they already were to start with. I grew up with music my folks probably said the same things about but my music was about long lost loves and flower power while glorifies violence and drug dealing and murder. And all the "songs" sound exactly alike. Ever notice this little fact, too? I wonder what ever became of Soul Music. Is it just another bygone ghost of the past? An ancient dinosaur which is dead but not quite forgotten, perhaps heard only on the oldie goldie stations. I'm just tired of having my right to quiet invaded by someone inconsiderate and insensitive to the reality that there just might someone close by who shouldn't have to listen to this trash we call .

I live on a fairly busy corner and some of the vehicles that come by with the *music* as loud as it can get, my windows and things on the walls vibrate!! I can even feel it on the floor when my feet are down. We apparently don't have a noise polution law but I thought Indiana had a state law against it. I can usually hear it when it is about 2 blocks away...honestly!!! Ann
