When Mayonaise Goes Bad This blog doesn't have anything to do with mayonaise but I just thought a gimmicky title would be an eye-catcher so more people would read my writings. Today, I'll touch on the subject of soccer. The USA newspaper this morning had an article in it which said more people in this country didn't watch the World Games because of the low scores. It would have been more believable if this paper would have come right to the point and said soccer is just plain boring. People watch other sports which often don't put many points on the scoreboard. Cases in point might include a one-to-nothing baseball game or a three-to-nothing Texas win over Southern Cal in football. Plus soccer doen't feature scantily clad cheerleaders showing their pom poms or commercials starring over-the-hill athletes pandering the benefits of drinking Bud Light. I think if there ever was a championship game for a soccer league, it should be called "The Snooze Bowl".Ho Hum. But thats just my opinion. |

I guess we are the only country in the world that can't get interested in soccer...I know I can't.

BAIT and SWITCH !!!! Illegal practise!!! Personally I'd rather watch soccer than eat bad mayonaise. I prefer Miracle Whip anyway! "I may not do great things, but I can do small things with great love." Mother Theresa
