Grumpy's Dragon

I am always reflective on Christmas. Grumpy and I met at a Christmas PWP Party.
I became the Programs and Education Director, while he was elected as Family Program Director. We worked together and created award winning programs. A year later we became officers at the Regional level.

We worked together on a Community Service Project, by holding Psychic Parties at the different chapters. I actually taught Grumpy how to read tarot cards and he was pretty good at it. He wanted to learn Astrology which can take years to learn. He often told me that I opened up his world.

We were booted out of PWP aka Parents Without Partners four years after we met. We married at the Treehouse Nudist Resort. A few years later, we relocated from California to West Virginia.

There are certain holidays, his birthday, our anniversary and the day that he crossed over where I am reflective of him. One I didn't even think about was the Year of the Dragon. Grumpy loved Dragons and considered himself born in the Year of the Dragon despite the fact that he was born in January and the Chinese New Year starts in February.

Two years after we moved to West Virginia, he flew to California to be the Best Man at his former working partner's wedding. He picked up a Blue Dragon and put it in a pet carrier when he was travelling back to West Virginia.

The Security at the airport asked him what was in the carrier. He responded that it was his pet dragon. He was advised that he was not allowed to bring animals on the plane. Security checked the inside of the pet carrier and decided to let it slid.

When we first moved to West Virginia, it was the start of the Chinese Year of the Dragon. I found the tiny dragons at the local dollar store. Once again, we are into the Chinese Year of the Dragon in 2024

I was a member of PWP for about a year. We traveled through Texas playing baseball and danced two nights per week among other things. It was a fun organization.

Question------- when nude------- why would you climb up into a tree? LMAOFF!

Great story. I used to have a red dragon. Late bf gave it to me. The red dragon he got from one of his sisters. Me and him enjoyed the Shrek movies. I happened to find the Shrek donkey figure somewhere. So, donkey found it's place on the shelf with dragon.

I am in the process, IF I ever actually get started, of deciding which of Joe's things I will keep and which I will send to his kids. I definitely know the things we collected together from our trips to meet internet friends will stay on my memory shelf.

Interesting story about Grumpy's dragons. I never ever went to a nudist camp. We have Wreck Beach here in Vancouver which is where you go nude. I guess it was never my thing. But guess if that is what turns your crank then so be it.
