BrusselSproutsEqaulsH*teSpeechPerSFF POlice?!!! I have to really laugh. I got a love letter from the SFF POlice stating that my previous blog regarding the adventures of cooking brussels sprouts was booted off the site due to h*te speech. Did somebody's mother make them eat brussels sprouts when they were a youngster and they REALLY hated brussels sprouts. I remember when Former President Bush Senior remarked that he didn't like broccoli. When he was a young boy, his mother made him eat broccoli but now that he's President, he doesn't have to eat broccoli. I don't blame him. I don't like broccoli either unless it's chopped up real fine into a soup. Meanwhile, I recently moved into a retirement community where there is a community lounge. I was listening to a group of women fat shame a man who was sitting nearby. Folks frequently bring dishes to share and now this man is afraid to eat in front of anyone. I told the man that it was not right for these women to treat him like that and they need to go FiretrUCK themselves. Most of the dishes are not very healthy. Lots of white flour. Bleeck! Now that I actually have a working stove and oven, I think I can provide different options. We are having a 4th of July cookout . I am bringing brussels sprouts.  Abracadabra  |

I WILL BE HAVING NEITHER BROCCOLI NOR BRUSSEL SPROUTS TOMORROW. I LIVE ON MY OWN AND WILL HAVE BBQ RIBS AND VEGGIES ALONG WITH A NICE DESSERT. THERE WILL BE NO ONE TO COMMENT ABOUT HEALTH MATTERS SO I WILL ENJOY PEACE AND QUIET. THAT DISH LOOKS REALLY GOOD THOUGH. WHILE I DO NOT LIKE SPROUTS I DO EAT BROCCOLI ONCE IN AWHILE. HAVE A GREAT FOURTH!
