Lavender is one of my favorite herbs. The scent is calming. I grow it in the spring and will start growing it indoors for the winter. Autumn is my favorite season. I love the autumn leaves but raking them - not so. When I visit D.C. - I LOVE visiting the Library of Congress. The Year CCXX - Our local community had a Racial Justice protest with the Black Lives Matter folks. Happily our local Law Enforcement didn't need riot gear. It was peaceful but the message was heard. Abracadabra

Yes, lavender is a great fragrance! Totally agree about how raking leaves is not high on the list of fun things to do. When I made the decision to settle in a condo versus a house, exterior maintenance was a big factor. I love not having to worry about it! A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

There is a section for Rare Books. I was able to handle (with gloves) a book on Horary Astrology published in 1690. I was really in awe to be that close to something that valuable and old. Abracadabra

I'm going to try to grow some Lavender this year. I enjoy the scent of it, and the soap in our bathroom is Lavender. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
