Photo Friday - "A" for Absent Minded and Alcoholic When I took the plane to Atlanta to visit my 0lder s0n and his family last week, I brought three pair of reading glasses. 0ne pair broke and I misplaced the other tw0. I went to the D0LLAR TREE and purchased three more. I returned to my s0n's home and found the other tw0. I always at least three pair of reading glasses every time I go DOLLAR TREE because I am always misplacing or breaking them. Some people drink because they are alcoholic. Others DON'T drink because they are alcoholic. I chose the latter and keeps me out of a lot of trouble. LXIV in a few weeks. When I was working at Sam's Club, a customer approached me telling me that she didn't drink and what would be a good brand of wine to give her boss for Christmas. Dah! I don't a clue. Menage A Trois - pretty bottle, interesting . I hope her boss has a sense of humor and likes it.    Abracadabra  |

International 2015 in Atlanta Georgia. I can visit son too. International 2020 was in Detroit, Michigan. I had no desire to go near that place. The event was cancelled because of Covid-19. Life on life's terms. Abracadabra

I used Dollar Tree glasses for years.... on the advice of my optometrist. He said there was no reason to spend a lot of money when all I needed was equal magnifying reading glasses. Awhile back though, I began to develop astigmatism so I needed correction for that because it was causing double vision at times. We order our prescription glasses from an online place called Zenni, and I bought about 8 pair (because I lose them) for less than the cost of one pair at most places. So now it is Friday, and I had forgotten all about Foto Friday..... shall I snap a picture of myself and label it absentminded? LOL Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I can't buy reading glasses at the Dollar Store. When I had my cataract surgery a couple of years ago he made one eye for distance and one for reading which is called monovision. I used to wear contacts for many years and they were monovision and worked very well. Sometimes I would put the contact in the wrong eye and then get it straightened out when I had my eyes checked out. I had my eyes checked a month ago and they are still good but eventually I will have to get glasses for reading and then they will be prescription. The joys of getting older....LOL!

HOW FORTUNATE YOU ARE TO BE ABLE TO USE STORE READING GLASSES. MY TRIFOCALS ARE 800 EUROS PER LENSE. IT IS A GOOD THING MY SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE HAS NEGOCIATED A 50% REDUCTION IN PRICE AND COVERS MUCH OF THE COST.

I have never used dollar store glasses to be honest. I know they come in a lovely collection of colours and designs. A very different take on the letter"A"

Dollar Store glasses are the best! You can get a different pair to go with every outfit. lol High five on the sobriety! A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!
