Thoughts About Anti-Vaxers I have a neighbor who is extremely germophobic thus keeps a distance which is fine with me. However she has reached to by leaving notes on the door and one point left a bag of quinoa, brown rice, and seaweed. Brown Rice is on my no-no list and I used the seaweed to make special water for my container herb gardens. I wrote her a note gifting her with Green Soup, another soup with bone broth and pineapple. She walks up and down the sidewalk of the apartment building. Thus I stepped outside to greet her. She told me that she is allergic to coconut milk and chicken but can totally do pineapple. She also mentioned that she did not get the covid-19 vaccine because she doesn't believe in vaccinations. Dah! This lady was recently hospitalized for congestive heart failure. The one time she rode in my car - she requested that we all wear masks and keep all the car windows down. This was in winter. This woman is terrified of germs but more afraid of the vaccine than she is the Covid-19 Virus. This is a woman who would be in serious trouble if she caught the virus. I try not to be judgmental but found myself feeling annoyed. The West Virginia State Fair was cancelled last year. It will be open this year but we are required to wear masks when working indoors. Masks are a nightmare for those of us who depend on lip reading for communication. As a result, I will be working in a booth by myself for the entire fair. Dang, part of the fun of working at the Fair is the companionship of the women I work with every year. People like this neighbor are the reason why we still have to live a restricted lifestyle despite the vaccine. Granted there is a risk with the vaccine but there is also a risk without it. I would rather take the risk and spend the rest of my life being free to go out and about in the community. Life on life's terms.  Abracadabra  |

Our Quaker Meeting is still on Zoom. We used to have potlucks and I know that D is allergic to mushrooms, C is sensitive to peppers, R is vegetarian, and W LOVES pork. I take all of this into consideration when deciding what to bring. It can be a challenge but I love my friends. It is funny how the neighbor is reaching out and neither of us have a clue about each other. Abracadabra

By definition, an 'anti-vaxxer' is against ALL vaccines. Many of the unvaccinated people are not against all vaccines, they just chose to not take this one, for whatever reasons, and then there are those who cannot take it and those who have been advised by their doctors to not take it. People may be surprised to find that many who do not chose to take the vaccine are health care workers. Sadly, many people are lumping all unvaccinated people into one group and condemning them all. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

My thoughts about anti-vaxers ... CDC says around 48% of the United States is fully vaccinated as of July 26. That's less than half of us ... and there's a vaccination available for everyone who is of age and and medically able to have it. I'd like to see some data on what percentage of people are advised by their doctors to not get vaccinated. My guess is it's a drop in a bucket. I'd like to ses some data on what percent of the 100,000 Medical Doctors practicing in the USA are advising against the Covid vaccination. Another drop in the bucket. I'd like to see some data on what percentage anti-vaxers just don't believe in any vaccinations for any reason. Another drop in the bucket. Reality is there's no need to see the data. Everybody knows it's political ... the birds crappen on your car know it's political. Yet most anti-vax Republicans I talk to have an EXCUSE that's not political.

There is also herd immunity. Vaccinations not only protects the individual but it also protects diseases from being spread to those with low immune systems and unable to be vaccinated. If enough people get the vaccine, the few who are unable to get the vaccine are spared thus community immunity. I am just frustrated and want life to be back to normal. I can't project all those frustrations on one woman's idiosyncrasies when I really don't know the whole story. Abracadabra

As of yesterday I am back to wearing the mask in public. I was first in line for the vaccine & it has not killed me. The mask didn't kill me before so I trust it will not kill me now. Plus the vaccine & mask may prevent me from killing someone else. LOL No problem. It's all good. Well there IS a problem.----- A person looks dumb as hell dancing while wearing a mask so the dancing is on hold again. LOLOL Party On!

REP. DAN CRENSHAW: I think we're all sick of the vaccine controversy here. Our outlook on this should be very simple. Look, I think the vaccine is safe and effective. I also don't think you can be forced to take it. We should just really have that worldview. And I'm really sick of the Democrats especially trying to politicize this and gaslight the American people and say, look at these Republicans bad-mouthing the vaccine. I've never badmouthed the vaccine at all, actually. But you know who has? Kamala Harris, Governor Cuomo of New York. I mean, they're all on the record… Back in October when Trump was touting this vaccine, they were on the record saying that you can't trust the FDA. Funny how they want all Americans vaccinated, but then take a look at our open southern border? Are the people coming into our country vaccinated? Nope! Are they getting the vaccine when they get into our country? Nope! Are they bussing these illegals all over the US? Yep!! Has our governor tried to get this stopped? Yes!! Did the DOJ sue Abbott for ordering the transportation of these risky COVID carriers to stop? Yes!! Why would the DOJ sue someone who is trying to keep Americans from getting sick? Now tell me? Does that sound like our government really cares about the American people? To me, not at all. Is COVID even real, or is it just another flu? And you want to know when things will be back to normal? I expect there's going to be another lockdown. Time will tell.

Those who believe that this jab keeps them healthy are free to take it and make a fast run to get the third boost. There are many questions that are waiting for answers! Why do those brave ones, who stood in line for the first shot and the second shot, can still get the "pestilence" and still are infectious? How come that Sweden, a country that never had a lockdown or mask mandates to date, has no growing covid numbers? Also Denmark and the Netherlands enjoy normal life. Why can't independent research laboratories get samples of the vaccines to investigate what it really is? Why has the creator's name of the mRNA technology, Dr. Robert Malone, been removed on Wikipedia after he spoke publicly about the risks..... ? Why are politicians obsessed with the idea to vaccinate the whole population, even our kids? It does not hurt to think...... All of my family extended family and friends are vaccinated. Some are still waiting on their second jab. I only know of two nieces who so far are unwilling to take the vaccine jab. Covid numbers remain very high here, which is rather worrying to say the least.

I KNOW A FAIR NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO ARE VERY WARY OF THE ANTI-COVID VACCINES BUT HAVE THEIR ANNUAL FLU JAB AND HAVE HAD THE USUAL OTHER VACCINES DURING THEIR LIFETIME. I PERSONALLY AM NOT KEEN ON THE ANTI-COVID VACCINES BUT HAD MY FIRST INJECTION THIS MORNING WITH NO SPECTACULAR ALLERGIC REACTION SO FAR. OUR "VACINNODROME" IS VERY WELL ORGANIZED AND I HAD TO WAIT LONGER THAN MOST PEOPLE AFTER THE JAB BECAUSE OF MY ALLERGIES ON DOCTOR'S INSTRUCTIONS. WHAT I DO NOT LIKE IS THE WAY THE AUTHORITIES HAVE CREATED THE PASSPORT, I HAVE TO SAY I WILL NOT SUPPORT IT.

The vaccinated people are much better off and you can probably best help your neighbor by getting her access to view some positive experiences of people getting the vaccine like our former Presidents w/ their first ladies George W. Bush, Barrack Obama, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton.

I read a couple of days ago, that airlines - Delta, American and United Airlines - are providing African migrants free flights to the US. No documents or ID are needed. For the sake of the country, one can only hope, that common sense prevails.

Lot's of good questions there Myseek. Some will tell us people are now getting sick from the Delta variant, but how would they now, there is no test for the variant. Variants get weaker as they mutate, and if you haven't noticed, the COVID variant numbers are up, but the death rate is way down. The percentage rate of dying from the variant is 0.001%. My daughter was telling me about this series called Utopia, and you know how Hollywood has a way of getting movies out that predict the future. Anyway, it is very similar as to what is happening now, a disease that kills people, people get vaccines, old people die from it and the younger people become sterile. Population control?
