To ManyProfiles on Heaven & Hades

“Why doesn't the pope convert Calvinism? Why doesn't the Dalai Lama, convert Christianity, why doesn't Billy Graham convert Islam, Why doesn't the Ayatollahs convert to Buddhism, Why isn't Buddhism swept away? Religious leaders know that all religions are equal; they know that no one of them has the monopoly to the knowledge of God. They know that each religion is trying to find the hidden God and that no one religion can claim to have found him beyond doubt. That's why they remain where they are and respect each other.”
― Bangambiki Habyarimana, Pearls Of Eternity

So many names implies that my late husband rejected God all his life therefore is someplace other than heaven. What nonsense!!!!

ACTUALLY............Grumpy grew up Catholic, and went to Catholic School where he endured abuse at the hands of "Sister Natalie." He punched the judge's grandson and was expelled from Catholic School. He was much happier in a more secular public school.

A few years ago, there was a court case where a y0ung GlRL was expelled from her private Christian School for a FB Post where her mother posted a photo of her celebrating her solar return with a birthday cake of assorted colors while wearing a t-shirt with a rainbow.. She was much happier in a public secular school.

Grumpy had a Catholic wedding for his first marriage. His second wife was Episcopalian. I was wife number III and we were married at nudist resort. I have been an avid church goer most of my life but I would never send my to a school that sanctions the abuse of a school b0y or shames a young female who MIGHT be a Lesbian.

So How DARE - ManyProfiles imply that my late husband is not in heaven. Does she get to dictate who goes to heaven or hell? Is she really qualified to define someone else's spirituality. I think not.

When I met him, he felt the churches betrayed him and he was turned off on any concept of organized religions. He still had the Christian beliefs but no real relationship with a Higher Power. That CHANGED when I started going to NA Sweat Lodge Ceremonies and studying Early European Spirituality. Understand God by studying nature. He learned to read the signs of nature. He has a rich Celtic/Irish heritage and he was a natural.

A few night after he died. I was having a very rough time. Crying in my pillow. I sensed my father even smelling his cigar smoke. I heard him say, "Don't worry, we care taking care of your grumpy azzzzzzzzzzz husband. He fits right in with our family. He has been cracking jokes with the rest of the gang.

I don't know the details of what happens on the other side but I do know that not only is Grumpy okay on the other side. He is more than OKAY!

There really is no need to defend yourself, or Grumpy from attacks from any person on any social media site. Do you know this person? Are they a part of your life? Do they pay your bills and put a roof over your head? Most likely not, so they are insignificant and nothing more than hot air. You can try as you may to get them to lighten up, back off, shut up, sit down, etc... but if they won't, then it's time to ignore them. Feeding the monster only makes it stronger, starve it and it will look for another source of energy. Don't give it yours.

I'm sure Grumpy is having a great time with your family.

I agree with Nile, Star. Ignoring is the best. You know that I was been there before...

Just enjoy posting your blogs.

I agree that there is no need to defend your beliefs to this person......I couldn't believe the audacity of this person claiming real-estate rights in Heaven, while he demonstrates his own lack of the personal qualities necessary for inclusion.........

I find your blog courageous and very wise.......

My son's mother-in-law was telling me about her encounter with a couple of religious types. She had a s0n who died as a child. The religious pair advised my son's MIL that the child that she lost was in hell. She went back to her car and cried. WTF!!! Who does that?

Star...... you do not need to defend or explain yourself to anyone. PERIOD.
Least of all to the woman with over 200 fake profiles who spouts nothing but hate, showing how truly fake everything about her is.
The best reply is none at all.

Is best to ignore the unhinged religious troll. This religious freak don't practice what he/she preaches. I don't believe this person will go to heaven.

With his/her despicable actions, he/she more closely resemble a devil worshipper, a member of the church of Satan . Don't feed the troll.

I'm sure Grumpy is at peace and happy. I love that part where you sensed your father's presence and reassuring words, hang on to that and ignore the rest.

Star, I understand how awful it feels when a blogger posts a comment that is totally uncalled for. It has happened to me too. I have two ways of dealing with this type of situation. One way is to reply to their comment and then turn off further comments on the post. That averts escalation and it preserves the integrity of the original intent of the post. Another way is to not reply at all. That sends the message that you're unimpressed by their comment.

When someone stomps all over your blog with toxic energy it can really suck the life out of you. I'm sorry to hear that your blog was attacked in this way.

A day without dance is .... just kidding. I have no idea!

At my baby daughter Kyra's funeral, 6 months after our father's death, my 2 Jehovah Witness sisters cornered me and said "You couldn't have loved Dad and Kyra very much if you don't want to see them again in Paradise"......meaning, if you don't believe what we believe.......

YOUR GRUMPY REMINDS ME OF MY AUSSIE PAL, LEW WHO WAS ASKED TO LEAVE A CATHOLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BUT WENT ON TO A CATHOLIC SECONDARY SCHOOL WHERE HE WAS BEATEN BY THE BROTHERS QUITE OFTEN. NEEDLESS TO SAY, HE IS NOW A TOTAL NON-BELIEVER AND I AM SURE THAN WHEN THE TIME COMES, IF THERE IS A HEAVEN, ITS GATES WILL BE FLUNG WIDE OPEN TO WELCOME HIM.

Your Aussie Pal might have an easier time getting t the other side of the Pearly Gates than the brothers who beat him and other school boys.

You're ok Star She/he is only trying to get a rise out of you as you know. Let it slide, it's not worth the upset.
