Prayers, Astrology, Cards, Crystals, & Other Weird Stuff

Much like my maternal grandfather, my childhood and early years were challenging. I didn't acquire hearing aids until I was in my mid-20's which resulted in "talking funny." Thus I was labeled "weird" by my peers. I did discover Astrology and suddenly every one wanted to talk to me. They talked to me mostly about themselves, potential love lives, other dreams and aspirations. I discovered that I liked listening to folks and using "God given" intuition to help give them some insight.

This is a path that some folks might not approve, but it works for me. If someone wants to label me "weird" so be it. That happened in my youth. When I look at my Astrological Chart - All my planets are on the East side of the chart. This is the indication of a free and independent spirit.

I wish society were not so shallow but they are. My theory is that we are all like Jonathan Livingston Seagull and his Earthbound pigeon friends. Everyone progresses and eventually learn to soar to great heights.

Being hard of hearing must have been very difficult and frustrating, including growing up with neglectful parents .......I can imagine that not being able to hear what others hear would lead you to develop other, internal senses .....I actually think that was brilliant of you to find that strength within you, I know it wasn't an easy journey........and I can see how you would relate to Johnathan...... The outsider who finds inner strength
and celebrates individuality.......

In the story of Jonathan Livingtonston Seagull, even the pigeon flock that ridiculed him will eventually progress although it may take several lifetimes. This is something that I always have to remember. I also have to consider that I may have or perhaps my ancestors at one time may have been a part of that flock that managed to step away and move forward. They will too.

I don't understand charts, but I find them very interesting. I'll probably be attacked because I believe in God, and you know what has been said about that. I won't go into details about certain things that have happened in my life, but I know there is more out there than what meets the eye. Someday I may ask for you to do a chart for me, if that's at all possible, let me know.

Each must walk his/her own path..... I'm just glad that yours and mine have crossed and remained near each other.

You seem to have met challenges unique to you by tapping into your inner resources, shaping you into the person you are today. Perhaps you might have been less driven if circumstances had been more 'favourable', resulting in a different outcome. I too find astrology interesting in that it can offer (or has the potential) some insight into ourselves/others. I am of the thought that skillful interpretation of the natal chart is a necessity if trying to help others. For example, you mention all your planets are on the RHS of your chart, indicating a free, independent spirit. I checked out my natal chart online which has all my planets on the right of my chart also (bar two - moon in taurus/uranus in cancer) yet little information is given as to its meaning.
