Rain, Haunted Farms, Retired Firemen & THANK YOU!!! MrsJoe It's been an emotional week but I came home and found a marvelous package. Thank You, MrsJoe!!!!  First, there was the saga of replacing the car key while GM is on strike, and being able make it my temporary job at the local Haunted Farm in time. It is Week and the rain did not deter folks from coming in. I am working at the Head Toss stand. Tossing severed heads in a milk crate. Frequently, I will let the little have free shots. So one little boy asked me, "Would you be my friend?" my reply "Absolutely!" "What is your name," he asked. I replied, "Granny," he asked, "Are you a good granny that will make us cookies or are you a mean granny?" ", not only will I bake you cookies but I'll take you the graveyard afterward" (Realistically, I would buy cookies at the local bakery and take the little boy and his friends the graveyard and tell them about their ancestors.) The rain kept coming but did the folks wanting to see the spooks. The severed heads were wet, cold and slippery. Water sloshed all over the place when they were being tossed. It was well past midnight when the last group took the tour. We had close to Fifteen Hundred people. One of the security guards approached me. "We should exchange numbers next week and I'd like to take you out to dinner." The security guard definitely merits an "Oh La La" but I have been running around in a black cape and monster make-up all weekend. "If I take off my make-up, I might be older than you think," I advised him. He replied, "I don't think so, I am in my 70's but I don't look it," No problem, I am in my 60's but I don't look it, even if I frequently feel it. My co-worker told me that he's a retired fireman and well respected in the community. He is probably a democrat since he is good friends with the owner of the farm who is a former Democratic State Senator. I made it home this afternoon and found a magnificent package in the mailbox. Thank you MrsJoe. Do you think I should wear this hat on the first date with the Fireman???   Abracadabra  |

I remember once having green hair and I mean GREEN! I was in beauty school and we messed around with our hair. My ex-husband almost had a coronary when I walked in the door He said I wouldn't get it out. I laughed and told him it was just a rinse and I would shampoo it out in 3 days but for 3 days I had that green hair. Fun in life is the name of the game and I love games.....
