Alabama. Plan B=Jamey Johnson & Opera Season

Sometimes, Plan B works magnificently. I have been tickets at the State Fair for the past years. I attended concerts for Charlie Daniels Concerts twice but this year, I purchased a ticket for Alabama.

I came age with Conway Twitty, Meryl Haggard, George Jones, Alabama and of course the Beatles.

Alabama was a popular concert thusI bought a ticket Alabama well in advance.

Randy Owens, Alabama's lead singer had the audacity get older with health issues like many in generation do. Alabama cancelled!!!!!!

Jamey Johnson was Plan B. I know some of the songs but not the Artist but why not give the youngster a chance.

Jamey Johnson is a can do old-time country music. How awesome is that?

I finally left the box seat and joined the standing room crowd and started dancing (bad hip and all) A young man had too much beer started dancing with me. I was teaching him how to do the bump. He suddenly sobered enough to realize what an old crone that he was dancing with. He ran like the wind.

It was good for a laugh. I never seriously consider compromising a man's virtue unless he is at least one year older than oldest . That guy was like a grandson. LOL!

Next year, I am simply going take the day off and go of the free concerts unless Alice Cooper[/B] plays again.

Opera Season on the horizon! Yea Haw!

I will probably go to the Opera with my gentleman biker friend. It will be a new experience for him.

I laugh at Joe's variable taste in music...... guess I can laugh at yours too.

I remember sitting with my great-grandparents listening to Lawrence Welk. I thought the music was "square" but I would love my great granny so much that if she wanted to listen to , I would have listened to it with her.

If that's opera, it's hillbilly opera.

I have never been to the Grand Ole Opry. I could put that on my bucket list. The Greenbrier Theatre live streams Opera from the Metropolitan during Opera Season. I would much rather visit Nashville, Tennessee than New York, New York.

Opera from the Metropolitan is live-streamed on the big screen in theatres all over the world in October. It would be really cool if Alice Cooper did Opera but that is not likely to happen. I will have to see him live the next time he does a concert at the fairgrounds. He's not a blue grass singer.
