West Virginia Lady in Red Goes to Israel!!!

I was proud to travel to Israel this past week with a bipartisan delegation to reinforce our unwavering support for this great country. We learned about the Iron Dome Defense System and met with government officials to discuss how we can ensure a peaceful future West Virginia Congresswoman Carol Miller

Ironically, I was in Carol Miller's Office in April to discuss the Palestinian situation. It is possible that she can take some of my insight with her to Israel. Ironically Congress Representatives Ilhan Olmar and Rashida Tlaib could have done the same.

They submitted an itinerary with no intentions of meeting the Israeli officials with the rest of the congressional representatives. Rashida Tlaib, in particular, would be in an ideal position to share her insight to the Israeli, Palestinian conflict and with suggestions for resolution.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed the move, which reversed an earlier pledge to permit entry to the politicians, on Thursday afternoon.
“Israel's law prohibits the entry of people who call and operate to boycott Israel, as is the case with other democracies that prevent the entry of people whose perception harms the country,” he said in a statement.
“Only a few days ago, we received their [Ilhan Olmar and Rashida Tlaib] visitation plan, and it became clear that they were planning a campaign whose sole purpose was to strengthen the boycott and negate Israel's legitimacy.”
David Friedman, the US ambassador in Israel, welcomed the decision.
“This plain and simple, is nothing more than an effort to fuel the BDS engine that Congresswomen Tlaib and Omar so vigorously support.”

BRAVO!!! West Virginia Congresswoman Carol Miller. We have to remember that Israel is an ally. We can help Palestine but we have to work with not against our allies.

Rashida Tlaib was given permission to go to Palestine to visit family provided she did not cause trouble for Israel. She refused. Apparently causing trouble was important than visiting her bubby.

Her true colors showed through very brightly...... and they are not red, white, and blue.

That's not me. That's the West Virginia Congresswoman Carol Miller in Israel. She was the only Republican woman who was elected to Congress last year.

What garbage and its disappointing that so many Americans are so utterly ignorant of the corrupt state of Israeli politics. The assault on Palestinian Christians with blatant land thefts, itself deemed unlawful by the Israeli Supreme Court demonstrates the deep ignorance and corrupt influence of a government who blatantly lies to the world and to the American people directly.

Does anybody bother to read a damn book anymore? Good grief.

I find it despicable that someone would defend Israeli attempts to profit from entities operating in stolen land in defiance of U.N. resolutions and in spite of the policy in opposition to the position of the United States itself. It is quite clear who the ignorant are here....shameful and disappointing.

Obviously, somebody doesn't bother to read a blog and shoots off his ignorant nonsense regardless.

Representative Rashida Tlaib was in a good positive to offer some really useful insight but she chose not to do that. Representatives Tlaib and Olmar had their own agenda which made it illegal for them to enter Israel. They did it to themselves. Now they are crying "Victim!!!"

Allies and Enemies....???

Who gets to decide? Do YOU get to decide.. who's your ally and who's your enemy? Like it some divine right...When like the "divinity" it is an imaginary thing. A simple creation in your own mind..

Leaf's response disappoints me.. As to who he sees as an enemy and as an ally..It's not based on his principles.. It's based on CHOICE..

In the problems of ......race, religion, politics and foreign policy ... the idea of who's your enemy and who's your friend... Is the battle one has to have within their own principles.
Principle that are mitigated by self interest.. Like somehow that is the "Trump" card over principles..
It is so hard to understand one must stand on their principles...No matter the ally or the enemy?

I know it's way over your head.. the idea of an imaginary friend.. and a created enemy.

I don't want to discuss what your principles are.. It doesn't matter, as long as you have them.. But I will ask you.... if your principles are designed to create enemies or make friends?

Which again brings me to Donald Trump.....Mr Trump has NO Principles..
It's evident to me... He has thrown too many "friends" under the bus.. and made them your enemy...Trump fully understand friends and allies are totally imaginary The people He throws under the bus are not his enemies.. He doesn't care.. but he wants and NEEDS YOU to care...... Trump has clearly shown his view of allies and enemies is totally based on agreement and disagreement... That is his one "principle" of allies and enemies

And his one principle......... Which USES YOUR principles.. So you can see who's your imaginary ally and create your imaginary enemies.
Race, religion, politics and foreign policy... Nothing is immune.. and no one is immune.

Again an imaginary thing.. that is fully explained in your blog.. To you ...you didn't mean to do it.. but it's plain as day to me.... and in that light....It becomes the one thing.. I can count on as the un-thoughtful spoken Truth...
It's imaginary, as you portray it...., because it's not real..
As you portray it.. It's not even a thing.
You make it up.. as some sort of justification..
You're not the only one.. Trump has fed it to you.. and You've happily eaten it.
No plans to solve it.. It's a way of life for most of you...
Including Trump, who for him is, a "catchall", a never ending battle..of persuasion. It's not real.. but it just moves on..anyway.. to whatever is in disagreement.
It is indicative of YOUR choice.. It is indicative of your own lack of principles... It's indicative of how easily swayed you can become.. It's indicative of YOUR hate...and your hypocrisy..

It's the.... "CONSPIRACY THEORY"....It's a "label" that doesn't exist..but to explain your own "victimhood" in disagreement.

Blaming Trump, Huh! Trump was not President when the Iranians held folks in the American Embassy hostage nor was Trump President during the Benghazi attacks. He was a civilian when the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers in New York, the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and the failed attack on the White House. The people who perpetrated these attacks are also the enemy of Israel. It makes sense the United States and Israel work together as allies. The Israeli/Palestinian conflict has been going on long before Trump became President. Granted, what is happening in Palestine is not good but can the United States really fix it. It's between those two nations. The United States has to prioritize it's own safety first.

Political idealism looks at “what ought to be,” and political realism looks at “what is” (even if it isn’t pretty).

In an ideal world, everyone would get a pony while Israel and Palestine hold hands as they kiss and dance in the sunset.

I am realistic enough to know that isn't going to happen. It is not willful ignorance, it's just the way it is. Humankind is a combination of inherently good (idealism) and inherently flawed (realism).

My college class in Political Science pondered on the subject of "political selective morality." Our allies can be SOB's but they are "our" SOB's. If certain Arab nations want to bomb both the United States and Israel, it makes sense for the two nations to team up.

Israel is only taking back what was theirs in the first place.
It says so in the Bible.
Don't you believe in the Bible?

So no, the Jews did not “steal” the land of Israel; what they got before 1948 they bought fairly from its legal conquerors/owners, what they got after 1948 they won fairly in wars that were forced on them. More than 60 years of intense Arab propaganda cannot change those facts.
