The Racist in the Pink Hat

A few months ago, she was describing Republicans as "racist" not realizing that I changed to the Republican Party and now date a Republican.

I found a photo of her on the Supreme Court House steps in the pink hat along with the rest of the crazies so I mailed her my retired pink hat.

So lets talk about Republicans being "racist." My gentleman friend was married to a woman from El Salvador. He has three daughters who speak Spanish. He has participated in the local Martin Luther King Jr. parade every year.

I have a black a Republican friend. A young man who doesn't want to buy into the victim mentality so he takes control of his own destiny.

Now about this race baiting pink hatter. She asked me to help get her house rented. This is a house that she bought in a black neighborhood because she is so "tolerant!" Yeah Right! I had a potential renter. He is one of my step-'s high school classmates. This is a young black man who lost his mother as a . His sister was in Junior High with a . He went to work and supported that family. He still takes responsibility for his nephew. He has a steady work history but she did not want the black man to rent the house that she bought in a black neighborhood.

The tenant that she chose was a young white man with no work or credit history. His mother had to co-sign the lease and foot the bill.

Her reasoning for not compensating me helping her get her house rented. I'm an evil Republican. Small Claims Court is an option but sometimes all we can do is cut our losses.

It would be nice to believe that most people are good and want to do the right thing. Nevertheless, it seems like some folks are simply lacking the consciousness to do the right thing. I believe that everyone eventually progresses. Maybe in another life time this nut case will be riding with the elephants.

Frankly, whatever the country, although some would like to view racism as a political party issue, I think it is a personal issue, and generalizations are rarely helpful.

I think the vast majority of folks try their very best to accept each person they meet without considering their race.

I wonder if her party of choice has anything to do with her nasty disposition at all....... she is probably a very unhappy, angry person who uses politics to express her anger at anything and anyone. Karma has a way of coming around, wait for it.
The Bible tells us that what we sow, we will get back. She is sowing a nasty seed and her harvest will reflect it. Karma!

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

A wise man said to me years ago "if you have to tell people you're not a racist, you probably are a racist".

MrsJoe - I think you nailed it. My theory about many of the Kavanaugh bashers is that they are projecting thier own pain on a man who had nothing to do with it. Most women have gone through some kind of sexual harassment and/or assault. It was one of the first things I had to learn to deal with in 12 Step Recovery. My 12 step sponsor advised me, "cut your losses and move one." It's worked for me. Some women have never learned to do this so they hate every man in sight. I suspect that is exactly what I am going to have to do with this poisonous woman.

Obviously we see things different......

Sparkle once accused me of "mansplaining".. I took it as an affront.

So let me take this opportunity to un-mansplain things to YOU..

" If you dont get down on your knees, beat your chest and apologize for your immutable characteristics- like skin color, gender, nationality- then you are called a racist , sexist and white nationalist. Have you apologized for being a male? Nope? Sexist."

apology?????...Of Course, that was rhetoric.. but really was it.? No man is going to apologize for being a man..apology not necessary....But, one can choose to say nothing about it.....Yet..The truth of it..In EVERYTHING you mentioned to apologize for... is not in the apology.... but in turning an apology into to becoming "THE VICTIM"
Like Kavanaugh..the problem was not that he needed to apologize to women.. The problem was, he had the audacity to use his manhood, beer drinking, locker room, friendships, education, and elitism and LIES.... to become "the victim".

I don't believe that Kavanaugh wanted to be a part of that Congressional Circus but the Demos insisted on making it into a circus. Ruining a man's life because of false accusation that can't be proven for political gain is wrong even if one disagrees with his politics.

All I can do is weigh the intent and the ruination..
It's no circus.. without the circus acts...and an audience..

The intent of the circus doesn't really matter to me...I doubt the Democrats intended it to be a circus...but it was a performance for an audience
The intent of a circus was not Christine Blasey Ford. and it was NOT the ruination of Kavanaugh that was the result... But hers......As both a victim and a unwilling participant in the circus
The intent of Kavanaugh and the Republican Committee was not the truth... but the circus, and the allegation that Kavanaugh was a victim.. It was NEVER about a guilty or innocent verdict for Kavanaugh....By all legal means.. he was NOT guilty.
but then again.. he did NOT "act" like an innocent man.
Whether he was a victim or not didn't matter...However, he performed a "circus act" to make it seem so.....instead of acting like a Supreme Court nominee..
So it was a three ring circus...
And "the elephant" in the room.. was in the center circle.

It seems like anyone who is the Supreme Court pick is going to be smeared by the opposing party. It is not the potential SCOTUS who creates the circus, it's the clowns in the Senate. What does an innocent man act like? How would you feel if someone pointed the finger at you and tried to ruin your reputation/life with unfounded accusations. Christine Blasey Ford was not being truthful. She may or may not have actually believed her own lies. Her letter should have been handed over to the FBI so that they could add that information to their investigation instead of being leaked to the press.

Cricket you couldn't be more right. Kavanaugh did not "act" like an innocent man.

And hearing wasn't about guilt or innocence. It was about a vote as to whether Kavanaugh is WORTHY of his dream job. I say he isn't worthy. In his answers I saw a punk kid and a coward. Kavanaugh was given countless opportunities to man up … to call on the President of the United States of America to provide an FBI investigation into Christine Blasey Ford's accusations against him … to help clear his good name

Kavanaugh said no.

Actually, there were six FBI investigations into Kavanaugh's background. If Kavanaugh had been a sexual predator, there would have been a pattern. No pattern was found except a few 11th hour unproven accusations from his college day. One woman even admitted that she lied. This was nothing but an attempt to smear an innocent man because he was Trump's choice. Should women be able to take out any man with false accusations?

Thus far, Kavanaugh has proven to be an okay SCOTUS and even sided with some of the more liberal justices on a case.

A couple of things..

First.... being not guilty is not being innocent.

Second....Blassie Ford may have been mistaken.. but she WASN'T lying

Kavanaugh was Lying.. and it wasn't being mistaken.

What you call a smear, I call a window into a potential Supreme Court Justice's drunken days, drunken stupors, drunken blackouts, drunken friends and who he is right now. His answers to questions were foolish … so foolish that he needed to apologize. I didn't like what I saw.

And a potential Supreme Court Justice needs to be able handle the job interview without falling apart. Kavanaugh failed. And Kavanaugh said NO to an FBI investigation of Ford that could have cleared his good name. If it was just a "smear", why did he say no to investigating her?
