Photo Friday - Holiday Ironically - One of my favorite Holiday is Halloween aka Samhain. It's the season versus the day. I love the autumn and the energy of the falling leaves. Freyja the Mutt - loves walking in the leaves and doing her business. Samhain is believe to be the time of the year when the Veil between the two worlds is thinnest. It's a time to honor the ancestors and our loved ones in the Spirit World. It's also the period of SCORPIO. I also love Thanksgiving because it's my 12 Step Teetotaler Anniversary and it's my youngest 's birthday. Ironically it is when I had one of my first Spiritual experiences. Christmas is kind of Ho Hum because it's Winter. I don't need a special day to honor the Creator and I can give presents anytime I want to. IN FACT - I often take advantage of AFTER X-Mas Sales and spend the presents by January 7th which is technically OLD CHRISTMAS. X-Mas is technically a season versus just one day.  Abracadabra  |
