These Hands I can remember looking at my dad's hands and wondering how they got so wrinkled and old looking. Then I remembered that those hands did a lot of wonderful things. They were always there to lift me up when I was fell down.they patted me on the back when i did a good thing, even when i wasn't that good. They were so strong for such a small man, but he was a giant to me. They showed me how to tie a rope,to hold a gun but most of all how to hold my first .I guess the most important thing was when he put his hand together and recited the Lord's Prayer, rather prayed the Lord's Prayer. I could go on and on what Dad's hands did for me, they made a living working in some pretty hard jobs. Now I look at my hands and pray that my hand will be remembered by my Boys. love ya all wilber |
