Knee replacement Surgery 2

I put a survey about knee replacement a few days ago and had a good response. Now my doctor wants to do both at same time. Has anybody had that done or is it better to have two separate surgery's. Your comments are appreciated. thanks Wilber

wilber id be a bit hither and dither on having both done at once ~ yes the recovery is a one time thing but it means you are completely incapacitated for a time ~ your physio to will be double discomfort for quite a time

it all depends upon whos nursing you ~ have you family prepared to assist daily or are reliant upon a visiting nurse calling say twice a day

each individual has a different set of priorities ~ its in my nature to get it over and done with, but is it really just to much doing the two at one hit

I just had the last shot in a five shot series that replaces the fluids and is to make for I can wait until Oct. to have Surgery.I Went to work after having the shot and I wished I would have called in. My Right knee I just barely get around because of the pain. I am going threw all the hoops for the insurance company to OK. I can do without the left knee for a while but I would miss twice time off of work. Thanks for all the comments Wilber
