TROUBLE IN OZ ! I'm feeling like Dorothy in the "Wizard of OZ", There is something Terribly Wrong in OZ! I am wondering when does the Good Fairy come to help make it all better in our Country? Our elected officials are playing the parts of the Tin Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, Evil Sorcerer and Wizard Why are Leaders, along with their Advisor's, and slow to act Aid providers, and with Security and Investigative departments that don't do a good job, not being replaced? What does it take before the wrong doers and inept decision makers are held accountable for failure to provide us with the services they were elected for? Is it not for the good of ALL Citizens that America is Governed in our best interest and to the best of our Leader's abilities? When do we ask someone as a failed Leader to step down? With Conflicting reports and with the knowledge of Terrorist's intent to do us harm, the failure to prevent the unforgivable acts of 9/11 was World Changing! With daily Weather reports on News broadcasts, and with full knowledge of the power of two storms approaching our Coasts, why in this modern fully equipped and connected Country was adequate aid not provided and preventive measures not fully enacted in a timely manner? Where in the Bill of Rights does it say we are to be led by Wall Street and the flow of money to the Rich? Where does it state our Country is to be led by a Governing Body that rules behind a wall of secrecy to bypass and prevent our open decision making policies? Richard "Tin Man" Nixon saying he was ill advised and behind lies, deceit and denials, was let go. Bill "Scarecrow" Clinton played footsie with a floozy and with no more than embarrassment to the Office, he too was let go. dick "Cowardly Lion" Cheney said he would help run the Country as a Company, with that in mind look at the state we are in. As the President's Right Hand Man he has helped lead us on a wild goose chase to camouflage a fortune spent only to line the pockets of Big Business cronies. With Condaleeza Rice as the "Evil Sorceress". conjuring up lip service to appease the wronged! With all the advisor's, preventive measures, security departments and governing body behind him, George Bush acting as "The Wizard", has done far more damage to our Country and the free World than all who have led before him. Our World image of good will is tarnished, our economy and some of our Cities are in ruins, a Fortune has been lost on an uncalled for War, with both harm and loss of life to our Troops and innocent Civilians here and abroad. President Bush and his Followers have attempted to change Laws in place to prevent the truth and avoid being held accountable for many terribly wrong actions! Now he is trying to sell management of our ports to some of the very people involved with harboring and financing terrorists. Only 5% of the thousands of shipping containers are inspected, does that sound safe? When do we as American Citizens put on the Red Shoes, click our heels Together and return to a better and safer America? At what point do we pay Attention to the "Man Behind The Curtain"? |

Yes Leah2, it is sad and a disgrace that it has come this far without any successful attempts to rein these madmen in. Money is their religeon. They show contempt for our Coutry's Laws and disregard the safety of our Children's future by antagonizing the very people sworn to avenge us. Their acts of aggression are UnAmerican and thus we are looked upon as the New Bullies of the World... Leah54, Yes quite frightening and there is probably more to come in the way of fear and danger due to the methods used to prolong and promote hatred amongst our sworn enemies. They have shunned any protest from our Allies, our Citizens and all others that don't approve of their heavy handed approach to peace. DLW78216, Yes correct I am in China, but still a Citizen with concerns for Our Country. I return a couple times a year to the US if you must know. Even though I am out of the Country, am I not entitled to voice my opinion about the lack of good judgement shown and what I feel is wrong with the present Administration? You would do better to stick to the issues than question my whearabouts. PollyAnna5, I can't give concrete answers about what anyone can do under the present circumstances. It seems that to question the President's judgement and decisions since 9/11 and while we are at War has been made to look UnPatriotic. Yet, in my opinion, it is being UnAmerican to allow such madness and underhanded tactics to continue. I care too much about the safety of people throughout the World to keep my mouth shut. I hope others will speak up to what is obvious, we are on a dark path to Oblivion. Prayer alone will not help, protest without representation goes unheard, and standing idly by while evil is committed is a sure sign for their wrongdoing to continue. They want us to keep quiet less too many open their eyes and see this Administration for what it truly is,UnAmerican Madmen!
