Happy Thanksgiving all!

'TWAS THE NIGHT OF THANKSGIVING, BUT I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP.
I TRIED COUNTING BACKWARDS, I TRIED COUNTING SHEEP.

THE LEFTOVERS BECKONED - THE DARK MEAT AND WHITE.
BUT I FOUGHT THE TEMPTATION WITH ALL OF MY MIGHT.

TOSSING AND TURNING IN ANTICIPATION,
THE THOUGHT OF A SNACK BECAME INFATUATION.

SO I RACED TO THE KITCHEN, FLUNG OPEN THE DOOR.
AND GAZED AT THE FRIDGE FULL OF GOODIES GALORE.

I FELT MYSELF SWELLING SO PLUMP AND SO ROUND,
'TILL ALL OF A SUDDEN I ROSE OFF THE GROUND.

I CRASHED THROUGH THE CEILING FLOATING INTO THE SKY
WITH A MOUTHFUL OF PUDDING AND A HANDFUL OF PIE.

BUT I MANAGED TO YELL AS I SOARED PAST THE TREES
HAPPY EATING TO ALL, PASS THE CRANBERRIES PLEASE.

MAY YOUR STUFFING BE TASTY, MAY YOUR TURKEY BE PLUMP;
MAY YOUR POTATOES AND GRAVY HAVE NARY A LUMP.

MAY YOUR YAMS BE DELICIOUS, MAY YOUR PIES TAKE THE PRIZE -
MAY YOUR THANKSGIVING DINNER STAY OFF OF YOUR THIGHS!

I just wanted to wish my friends here in the State a Happy, Healthy and Safe Thanksgiving..

And for my friends outside the US.. May the rest of this week be Happy, Healthy and Safe for you also..

For so many of you here in the States and overseas mean a lot to me! Thank you for your friendship.. your kind words.. and your love..
Whether you know it or not.. you have touch at least one life for the good (and I am sure many more!)..

To you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving lady.

At my age I am thankful for knowing my Creator, my family, then the love of my life honeybunz, then the wonderful friends we have make like you lady and thankful that everyday to me is Thanksgiving.

A wonderful poem from a wonderful lady,,,,thank you. It is an honor to know you and see that superb smile on your face.

I can't take credit for this poem though.. but I did like it so I wanted to share it with you..

Nice poem. Thank you for that. I've touched many people in my life Gina, and some of those people were women, and some of those women I kissed, and some of those women that I kissed, I made love to.

my pies are all made and the flour washed off my face and i covered the pies and took tom out to thaw . then thanked my lord from above that it was all done ------------------blessings to you and yours gina have a wonderful holidayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy..... leslie
