The Road.. Sometimes when we start something.. we realize that the road is long and often winding. We want to stop and rest. We may want to stop and get off this long road, forgetting why we started down it or even what is at the end of this road we chose. I have learned in the process of my journey that it is in the hardest of roads.. the longest of roads.. the bumpiest of roads that we grow, learn and experience more! We live life to the fullest on those roads! I wanted to share something that I received today at a seminar that I went to this morning.. I hope it says to you what you need to hear to continue on the road you chose to be on... ________________________________________ Just because the road ahead is long is no reason to slow down. Just because there is much work to be done is no reason to get discouraged. It is a reason to get started, to grow, to find new ways, to reach within yourself and discover strength, commitment, determination, discipline. The road ahead is long, and difficult, and filled with opportunity at every turn. Start what needs starting. Finish what needs finishing. Get on the road. Stay on the road. Get on with the work. Right now you're at the beginning of the journey. What a great place to be! Just imagine all the people you'll meet, all the experiences you'll have. Be thankful that the road is long and challenging, because that is where you'll find the best that life has to offer. - Author Unknown ______________________________________________ Good luck to everyone who started on a road.. whether it be the beginning of your journey, the middle of your journey or toward the end.. know that this road was paved with you in mind.. you can make it! I learned that I can make it alone. It's been 20 years now. 2 1/2 with sff resulting in nothing. But I guess I have found some friends in here.

Gina, I'm really enjoying what you've been sharing recently. Sorry it often seems that pain or lonliness seems to be the emotions that get us searching in a better direction, but, hey....whatever, to get going. I loved this and have been finding joy in the experiences, with less expectations. Thanks for again sharing, sounds like you got something out of your seminar, too. Cindy

The road can seem endless at times. As karen said ,we sometimes need someone to give us a push and help us on our way. I know i do anyway. My problem is, I'm a great starter but a very slow finisher. Must work harder on that. Thanks for the push Gina

Gina you have had a bumpy road but look how strong it has made you...we all face those bumps and sometimes hurt we think will never end but God does have a plan for us. I know the friends I made here saved my life when I was so down...now look what God has done for me, he first gave me frinds and then he gave me love ....I love each one of you and give thanks for bringing me to this site on that lonely evening....
