Do you remember? The Good 'Ole Days? This is to everyone who wants to read my blog - To those of us who have been here for years now and have actually met and developed friendships in reality - and - to those of us who have not been here so long - so you can get a glimpse of what SFF was like back in the day..  Back when I stumbled (cause that's what I did, stumbled onto this site) I did not know what to expect - never having been in chat before.. this is what I found over the years: - Fun in chat - laughing and joking around with many 'chatters' - Meeting chatters in person making them no longer a keyboard fixture but a real person. - Developing long time friendships from those times of meetings.. luncheons, get togethers, bashes, parties.. whatever you want to call them. Back when chat was fun do you remember? Just being able to go into a room (it had 3 rooms when I started) and laugh until your sides hurt? I could remember friends saying "my family thinks I've lost it laughing so hard in here by myself!" I have witnessed, seen and felt lots of fun times laughter, hurts, heartaches friends being terminally ill, friends dying, friends having heart attacks, friends getting married, people coming together to support one another - do you remember? Today we have the opposite - people purposely being rude and mean to one another - not coming together to uphold and support like it used to be - but to tear down and hurt... Why? What is the purpose? Some people have not seven met the ones in person they tear down nor for that matter met the ones they stand with to help tear down, make judgments on issues that hold no value except to the people it involved. What is the purpose? It's sad we lost what we once had - To the ones who remember - why can't you /we live it again? To the ones who are newer - can we share some stories of yesteryear's with you - so you can see how we once where here on SFF? My challenge to the bloggers/chatters who remember.. forget today.. and think back.. tell us a time when you remember that was funny.. happy.. a time of yesteryear that you can share with us here.. Jes, The good old days were days of people having fun without agendas and chips on their shoulders. I joined SFF in 1999 and chatted on and off since that time. I met Lucy in a chat room and look what happened  !!!I remember the good old days with JLT2003 (who is still around), TomTwit, Queenie, SassySheBear, Yaya1950, KC52 (what a sweetie)! I have sat and laughed till my sides hurt while watching the antics of these folks in chat. It would be great to see the rooms return to normal. Dream on, Baby. Some people like the chaos too much. I got a tattoo of Obama on my arm and it suddenly quit working

I have been chatting for almost a year and a half. I don't go in much lately but do still go. The last 2 times I went, it was almost like it used to be...fun. Yes I remember laughing so hard I was choking and wiping my eyes. I would think, lord if someone would walk in they would think I had lost it. I remember one time sheWolf had a group of us going somewhere by car, picking up others as we rode along. Sharing a glass of wine, getting each other coffee, making each other feel good...yes, I do miss all that! Hugs...Ann

Meme First, let me say that I am so sorry for your loss Remember me ? We shared the cab from the airport to Clearwater last year. Fossil, I joined in '99 also ... It is unfortunate that the rooms have a bitter taste at times but I refuse to engage in that negativity. I've given up my gold membership because I have lost the enthusiasm for going in regularly. I have met some real nice people that I am always happy to exchange with and look forward to possibly meeting old and new friends next year if things go well. I sometimes think that people take things far too seriously. One doesn't get to see the twinkle in the eye when the writer is is teasing .... Just a thought. Jes, certo che mi ricordo le belle tempi in chat. My friend, I remember them... Vec, you, me and some others.. we used to tease guys lol...those were the days my friend... they will no longer return....the chatroom has change a lot... Click click, there will be fun, there will be fun, lol, Jes it was fun, and lets hope it gets that way again, even if i am married i will still be game to jump in a hot tub with who ever.. rofl..
