 Thomas Crapper, not an easily forgotten name, you learn it and it is one of the silly things that get stuck in the brain! I have a bunch of worthless things in there! My grandma used to make her own pillows, she was born in 1890 so guess that was one of the things to do to pass the day! haha She told me it took 3 pounds of feathers, so now how many people wanted to know that, but it is stuck in the brain! Ann p.s. just exactly where do I win this trip to??

 Tommie's flushing loo was a winner as he worked out the correct angle or 'chiming' to make the bowl clear its self , others tried but the bowl would not clear properly

did you know that the phrase to get 'wrong end of the stick' is also a toilet saying as the romans used a sponge on a stick hundreds of years before loo paper was invented and yukkie if you were in a rush and grabbed the wrong end of the stick !! -- today we have a rather different meaning for the phrase , and loo paper

Well, I would have, voted wrong. However, if I took the "que" from my son...he always says..."tell them I'm on the crapper." I always thought that was his own ingenious, name?? Now I've got to go look for the singer, dude.
