The magazine is still there. From time to time I post comments on it. Poetdancer has posted a few subjects. All you need is for someone to pose a subject so others can post their comments on it. The Round Room in the groups is still going steadily. We have had lots of people join but there seems to be only three of us that keep it going. In fact Earthy I think you are a member. There is no political propaganda going on in the Round Room.

The magazine went to hades so most of the people on the porch moved over to the blogs. The problem is that the trolls came over to the blogs as well. Sure, I blog about politics but I also blog about Opera, Gardening, and Astrology. Abracadabra

The problem with the magazine was a few people used multiple handles to create problems. I don't mean ONE handle at a time, but many, many handles. Destiny and I used to have a blast figuring out who was really who. Why one of the special boys had female and male alters. We could tell when he'd add another alias because the females had to compliment his good looks and the males just had to agree with him, all the while his "likes" soared to the number of handles he was able to call upon. I think most of the people who participated in the Magazine moved over to the blogs....or died.

Stillwater was a good blogger and I really liked Poetdancer too. But don't leave yourself out of the Hall of Fame. You are a heck of a blogger and a serious intellectual heavyweight I enjoy reading. I've been told....by you in fact...that I was the one who destroyed the blogs. I feel it's unfair to pin that on me even though I comprehend your argument. I feel. I came here and blogged about many different things of which political oriented subject matter was only a part. I was immediately attacked with horrific lies about me personally that it essentially became impossible for me to nurture new friendships. The source is someone you know...the details you may not...but there's no historical shortage of horrific comments frankly...LOL I was forced to fight back.and frankly the attacks themselves did more to change the dynamics here than I did. I'm just not the kind of person that lets go of a cause. That probably doesn't help your cause however. I can't let go now...I just can't, not with so much on the line for the country I served and love. Perhaps the future will be brighter when I've finished the fight. For what its worth I think the blogs move to slowly. Others may disagree. I do blog elsewhere where things go lightning fast and I like that. There are a lot of interesting perspectives out there. Just don't leave...

Stillwater is still around, just over in face book. So is Poetdancer. She has had many health issues, but rebounds each time and shares pictures of the beautiful jewelry that she makes. Karinpepita is also active on face book. She was married, then widowed, moved across the country, and recently lost her son. So many have just left because of the toxic environment in SFF, but a lot of them are in SFF groups on face book. I wonder about the newer members? Are they meeting other newer members and forming their own cliques? Or do they just look around and leave? Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

There has been a lot of that came and then left. I didn't know that about her husband. I thought the most recent husband was her second one but I could be wrong about that. Stillwater posts on FB once in a while. Speaking of the Philippines a distant relative of mine met a lady online from there. He went to the Philippines and married her and then she had to apply for her papers to immigrate to Canada. Last I heard she was coming soon. I thought Stillwater at one time wanted to move to the Philippines. I might be wrong about that.

If he was in chat, then that is why I don't remember him. I was only in chat for a short time, as time in SFF goes. I spent a lot of time there before I met Joe, then less and less time in chat and even in SFF. Then I found the "porch" and hardly ever went to chat.......... and after the format changed, I got lost when I tried to join in. I thought the reason Sycamaria didn't move to the USA was that she wasn't allowed to leave the Phillipines. I could be wrong about this. Earthy were you thinking about Friendly? I don't remember where he was from and maybe he is gone too. I'm not very good at remembering names. So perhaps I am mixed up.

ET worry about politics & the news defeats happiness. Coming here where cutting people down is the main purpose defeats happiness & leads to misery. It becomes a way of life. This place HAS improved lately. The Left, left, left ,left ,left , left boxing lady has LEFT. Try finding other interests like I have done. Stop worrying over what you can't control. Buy a lawnmower & a fishing boat. LOL Party On!
