Maybe, they intend to show everyone how much handsome they looked when they were young! I am sure they have no other intention!

I can't be bothered changing mine. I'm not looking for a relationship anyway. The fellows who send me messages here are all in there 40's or 50's~~ LOLOLOL. I'm sure if I checked my closet that I have shoes older than them!!

Hmmmm...........Maybe it's time to clean my closet?? Yah think!!

I was 50 when I came on to this site. I am 65 now. In the era of cell phone and selfies, I post recent pictures of myself. I am not looking for a relationship either way.

I usually update my picture about every 2-3 years and leave all my older photos on my profile. I am proud of who I am and what I look like at the age of 69, soon to be 70. I am Me, like me, proud of who I am. I am very lucky to have such good genes from my parents.

Unless Lothringia is able to post one of the recent photos he took of me, I just plain don't have anything more recent. It's as simple as that.

Perhaps I can! There's really no one I'd be interested in meeting, so like many others I don't bother to change it up. The other reason I don't change it is I know how much it bothers you, Bigblock and others. So little man, does that answer your snide question? I'll refrain from giving my opinion of the photo you've chosen to display.

Just for you ET, I've switched to the most current photo I had in my album (last 2 to 3 years). Hair is longer and whiter now! The nurse at my doctor's office said, "whatever you are doing to keep doing it because I never, ever would have guessed you to be 70". Fortunately I have remained relatively wrinkle free, most likely due to the lack of sunshine in the Pacific Northwest.

My profile says I am 54 years old too, I wrote that when I first joined and haven't changed that either...

No idea why married men would be so upset about a little leg showing. LOL Maybe they prefer the men who post the naked crotch shots. Ya think?

I do hope everyone feels much better now and will sleep peacefully tonight.

My picture isn't recent I will admit. But who cares anyway. Like Rocketship I am not looking for a relationship or a person to live with. At this stage of my life I prefer to live on my own. At least the age I have on my profile is correct. I don't pretend to be someone else. I have always tried to be honest. When I first joined this site many moons ago the opportunities of meeting someone were greater than what they are now. The site is loaded with so called opportunists. But it is a good subject Earthy.

Earthy what you see is what you get. So far I have been blessed with good skin so thus no wrinkles on my face. I can't say that for the rest of my body. Saggy parts losing gravity...but it is what inside that counts. At my age I can't expect to be perfect......I try.....LOL!

'I'm more wash & wear than wrinkle free' - cute. Lines add character. Perhaps unrelated but a verse from Don McLean's touching tribute to Vincent van Gogh comes to mind - 'Vincent' (Starry Starry Night)

Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue
Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand

Very good..

Yes impressionism. post impressionism, to surrealism..Pick your poison. Van Gogh may be the best choice to show the information, and still allow the imagination.
If i could create my picture.. it would be a Picasso..Disconnected, confusing to some..and yet beautiful all the same..

The failure of the "impressionist' .. is the failure of the pictures here..
Rarely does one GET.... what they see...
When our failure is to never see what we GET..

The failure of the "impressionist' here.. is the failure of the making the proper impression.. But in Truth...it's not the "poster's" mistake .. It's the viewer's

It depends on how you see it and how you read it.

It wasn't intended to separate but to join..

Beautiful.. all the same ..You see this is where we part.... The differences and the commonality..
You assume I meant it to be different .. when i meant it to be common.

Every picture here is beautiful...even yours... with your "cover-up".
The idea of a Picasso.. is not to be MORE beautiful.than a more realistic impression.. the idea behind it.... is to make you realize... it is simply AS beautiful.
