I sometime watch the news with Alfie but I probably couldn't tell you what I watched....

He is a news junkie but only the evening news. He gets to watch 3 of them in a row Two are local and the evening national news.

What they don't say.... It's not the "pig's" fault....It's the "worm's"

I agree with you there Earthy. On occasion I watch CNN and I don't watch Fox at all. I watch the Canadian channels for news. Goodness knows we get a lot of the American political situation on our channels as well. CBC is right up there in keeping up with our neighbors to the south and elsewhere in the world. We have our own federal election coming up in October so it will be a busy time for the next few months. Justin Trudeau is running for PM again so we will see what happens on Monday October 21st.

In the past I watched BBC mostly because news was only (reported)
.
I appreciated not being told what it meant by an interpreter.

Here in the U.S. I listen to a canned so called debate ---- tune in the next day and
people like block are telling me what it all meant and who won.
Like the electoral college knows what I hear better than I do. LOL

Everyone is an expert except they disagree. Yes they make a lot of sense when they listen to themselves.

I am not buying it.
Party On!

I listened to Rush Limbaugh for 10 minutes today.
I have a severe dislike for him.

He was railing about the democratic candidates in the debate
(one and all) proving to U.S citizens that illegal aliens were their main constituency.

I agree & I do not like it.
I want to think we have a party of U.S. citizens.

ALSO if anyone wants my vote----he or she better not speak Spanish when asking for it. Scratch them! NEXT

Party On!

Yes, so true .... but I feel it's very scary with the upcoming election. I won't delve into details even though I am a political junkie . I do watch CBC, CTV News etc.

ET, I refuse to pay for television because it's mostly garbage and advertising, with a good show here and there. I get about 20 stations with antenna. I don't get CNN or Fox and, I don't care.

As for the news, I don't need a news show to know Donald Trump is trash. I saw it back when he harassed Barrack Obama with his birther movement. I see it everyday in his tweets and regardless of who reports the news. If I listen to Sean Hannity Trump is still trash in my opinion LOL. I don't need anyone to tell me Trump taxed us with tariffs in order to finance tax cuts for the super rich … his donors.

For news I like PBS Newshour. They give more story details than the network world news shows.
