What do you think of Michael Bloomberg as potential candidate for Democrat presidential nomination ET? He impresses.

Why not Hillary again although I don't think she wants to do that to herself.

It's too soon for me as well. I'll be waiting for the debates, interviews, speeches and Town Halls. I need to get through the Mueller report and hopefully impeachment before getting too involved in the campaign. It's an awesome field that is shaping up though.

Bloomberg definitely gets it on a lot of issues. I hope he gets in because I do think he will force discussion of issues that need attention. I'm looking for detail and innovative thinking. I'm not looking for someone to just manage the hen house which is all the republicans did in the last election and they have failed miserably as usual.

Michael Bloomberg will decide whether to run or not by end January/early February apparently. Given his age, he obviously recognises it would be his last realistic shot at the presidency, and because he feels so passionately about addressing pressing issues, may decide to go for broke. Or after much consideration, may decide to back another strong candidate instead.

Eathy...I quite agree that now is the time to get serious and I love the field that is shaping up. I'm ready for the discussions, the interviews, the debates, the Town Halls now as you are. I don't mind a large field at all. There is a LOT to talk about. I'm just saying that I want to watch the field perform for awhile before I decide who I think is best prepared to lead the country and enlighten the incredibly stupid people who still support Trump....the dumbest constituency in American history.

I agree and too thought someone like Beto O'Rourke an ideal running mate for the reasons you outlined. I like O'Rourke - he comes across as enthusiastic and genuine as well as decent. Here's hoping. I favour Bloomberg over Biden and can't see him (Bloomberg) crumbling too readily under Trump's attack - is experienced/savvy and has Trump's measure (just my opinion :- ) ).

'Personally, I'd like to see Trump be the first passenger in a maiden mission to whatever planet would have him' - gladly, how about Trump and cohorts jettisoned to the nearest black hole

How about Amy Klobuchar sharing the ticket with Beto?

Yeah that's an important point and it is a problem in a large field. My biggest issue with campaigns within a party is that on most major matters the candidates essentially agree. It often boils down to hair splitting differences. We need better questions of candidates and more aggressive insistence on answers instead of spin. The problem there is that candidates avoid reporters that are good at that...LOL

I thought little of Elizabeth Warren until I heard her interview voicing support for the average American. I am now impressed.
Party On!

I remember Ms. Fiorina in a presidential debate saying if elected president she would NEVER speak to a Russian.
Perhaps she will switch party. LOL
