There is the realization that allegations of sexual misconduct is a common ploy by politicians to take out their opponent. I didn't keep track of the Hill/Thomas hearings but it was not a total loss. Sexual harassment in the workplace is an issue that is dealt with in modern era that was ignored earlier times. I did listen carefully to the Ford/Kavanaugh hearings. If I were sitting on a jury, there is not enough evidence to convict him of anything, Most of the alleged eyewitnesses contradict her allegations. There is not even enough evidence for a prosecuting attorney to even press charges. I am inclined to believe the whole scenerio was fabricated by the Demos to manipulate the masses. These women are projecting their own pain onto a man who had nothing to do with it and expecting him to be the sacrificial king for the sins of all bad men.

Republicans never mention the allegations of sexual misconduct by Trump.......and how he always sides with the men in allegations of abuse.......Always......and his "levelling the field" by mocking Dr. Ford ..........They always ignore the misconduct of the sitting President and instead bring up a president that hasn't been in office for 17 years.......They don't even seem to realize they are doing it. They go on about due process while Trump encourages audiences of his ego-stroking rituals to chance "lock her up".....They talk about innocent until proven guilty while ignoring Trump's history of doing the opposite.........They deny that Kavenaugh was hurried through and ignore that Clarence Thomas was held back for 10 months.....Republican senators make statement of policy that completely contradict what they said in the past, on and on, the Republican hypocrisy never lets up.........

Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are well established womanizers with the track record to prove it. Apparently the voters didn't care. The vote to confirm or not to confirm went right along political lines. Kavanaugh's guilt or innocence was not a factor on either side of the aisle . It was just the means to achieve an agenda.

I find it odd that you are so adamant that Kavanaugh didn't lie...but Ms Ford did.
Why are you sure of that? Why are you so sure that that Ms Ford was paid by the Dems to lie about it? There is absolutely no evidence that either of them lied.
Or either of them told the truth. Witnesses on either side can be paid to lie...you must acknowledge that, surely.

You have chosen a "side"... and whether you like my saying it or not, there is no proof that you are right. You say you believe in "innocent till proved guilty"...why don't you act on that belief? It's called being unprejudiced.

Absolutely nothing has been proved.

That's not what the world saw when the Republicans countermanded every proposal Obama made.
It's not what we, here in SFF, see when we read your blogs.
It's not what we see when trump goes all out to destroy any liberal laws and policies.
It's not what we see when Trumpers spend most of their time hating Liberals.
It's not what we see when some of them even suggest no-one but trump supporters should be allowed to breed.
And it's most definitely not what we read in your hundreds of prejudiced anti-liberal blogs.

You may fool your minions ... but you are not fooling anyone else...in fact you have just contradicted everything you've ever said.

WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!

Based on the accusation , that happened 36years ago, the lack of evidence pertaining to that accusation... You conclusions are reasonable .

I think Kavanaugh defense of the accusation.. was far more revealing, about his unfitness, than the truth of the accusation.. I honestly believe Kavanaugh was "coached" and that in itself disqualifies him

So maybe we disagree..about his confirmation....

But again, i don't agree with.. those that have responded to you...and simply.. prove that..Some Liberals can be prejudiced, narrowminded, agenda oriented, labelers, equating the un-inequatable, and just plain NASTY..

Stopped bowing to despots.......Trump may have stopped bowing, instead, he offers them a BJ.......Putin and Kim Jong Un.......He fell in love with them because they said nice things about him........Trump has said so himself. Trump is the laughing stock of the World........It seems that a few extra coins in your pocket is enough for you to support the tax breaks for corporations and the super-rich while Americans with pre-existing conditions die because they can't afford their medications and Trump neglects to fill government positions that keep citizens safe......It's a temporary high looking no further than the next fix........good luck with that.....

Ginsburg is clearly the best on this court.

I agree...the manner in which he conducted himself did not rise to a level of overall fitness for the court. So many republicans threw away their reputations on that vote...making all of them unfit frankly for the jobs they have.

yes... i think that too..

And you have convinced me... to change my focus on what I'm going to do...
I may hate Trump and not his supporters so much, as most of them are just sheep..

For me Trump is a done deal.. 'stick a fork in him" and I'm moving on..
The people in power I'm now after, are those who are complicit.
