Tomorrow I have an appointment with an estate sale company guy to discuss having the mother of all estate sales at the man cave. The plan is to divest of stuff and expenses that I do not need other than as a hobby. The tax of ownership went up 37% two years ago and up 137 % over that this year. The freedom of ownership has become very expensive in Texas. So now I plan on hanging around home base more and count the proceeds. CD interest rates have risen dramatically this year so I will be having a lot of Ice Cream/ DrPepper floats and watch the Cowboys win the Super Bowl. LOL |

I've read that it seems quite a number of folks are moving to Texas so you will most likely get a very good price for your property. Good luck with that~~  I sold up about 9 years ago. I strongly believe in making decisions when I 'want' to... not when I'd 'have' to !!!

I know for sure I would never move from my house now, Im too old to pull up roots. Good luck to you, I admire people who have the get up and go mentality, even in senior years.
