WITCHY I want to show off my new painting of Witchy. She is one of the most courageous women that I know. She is full of spunk too.......that is what we say in the south. I intend to paint it again because it is not as good as I want it to be. My reason being that I know a lot of caucasian people and have a lot of caucasian friends. but I have never painted any of them. I paint a lot of black folk and did not realize that caucasian skin can have very light tones that I am not used to painting.. I did attend a painting class and the model was a nude caucasian male once.I did not get his skintones right either but I got all of his body parts correct......lol I say this because I think our country would be better if we tried to get to know people of other races.

I think it is beautiful the way it is ! I have a lot of friends and family of all different nationalities. We r all beautiful and don't need touch ups ! LOL Stay true to U ! HUGS

Nice painting Smiley! White people come in an amazing amount of different skin colors which I can see as a challenge in itself. You have olive, red, golden, porcelain white, pink skin tones to name a few. LOL, I remember one of my friends called her color refrigerator white. As far as your photo coming in sideways, take a picture holding your phone on it's side instead of straight up. That has worked for me.

What a Lovely picture! To get the picture upright try putting the center command in brackets before the image command.

I remember witchy...I believe she lived 'way up north', and had dogs. If it's the same person, I saw her often in the Gazebo and would greet her by saying 'hiya witchypoo'... If that's her, please tell her 'howdy...witchypoo..'

Excellent Portrait! Skin tones; as in real life, are of little consequence... There are fine decent people who run the full gauntlet of tones, as there are just as many doers of evil. Please post more here in blogs so we get to know you better. I just posted a HOT FUDGE ice cream topping recipe and am attempting to post a peach cobbler recipe in a little bit.... My name is Bret...
