The article "The Mask Mandates Did Nothing. Will Any Lessons Be Learned?" by columnist Bret Stephens dives into studies conducted on the efficacy of masks. After examining the studies closely, Stephens admitted that no hard evidence proves face coverings help decrease the spread of the virus. "The most rigorous and comprehensive analysis of scientific studies conducted on the efficacy of masks for reducing the spread of respiratory illnesses — including Covid-19 — was published late last month. Its conclusions, said Tom Jefferson, the Oxford epidemiologist who is its lead author, were unambiguous," Stephens wrote. Jefferson, interviewed by journalist Maryanne Demasi, said that masks, not even the infamous N-95 masks, make no difference. But what about all those "studies" done claiming that wearing a mask will "save lives," giving politicians the power to mandate one to be in public? "They were convinced by non-randomized studies, flawed observational studies," Jefferson replied. He continued to say that using masks combined with other preventive measures, such as hand hygiene, physical distancing, and air filtration, still makes no difference in how Covid spreads. However, the op-ed sparked controversy among political commentators, arguing that masks didn't do anything for the people's well-being. "While it's nice to see the NY Times finally admit masks are worthless, it's false to say the mandates 'did nothing,'" Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon wrote, adding "they harmed , eroded public trust, and psychologically damaged millions of people to the point where they're still afraid to breathe in public." I choose to wear a mask. I make my own choices, I'm not a follower. The last bunch in office r a bunch of clowns, instead of making like they r ring leaders. Sorry ... my opinion. If I wanted to have a same sex relationship, I would do that. If I wanted to get an abortion, I would do that. I live my life the way I choose to do. That is y I chose not to be married anymore, haven't did what he said or I haven't done anything (except for my job) anyone tells me to do. Luckily enough my brother who thinks like U do, visited me before COVID and I held my tongue ! I have no problem telling people to get away from me, including my family. When people r around me it's my way or the highway !

When people r around me it's my way or the highway ! the forced mandates for masks n shots proved to be based on control. i did a lot of research when this mess came out. a friend on here n i had many phone calls and they was of the same thoughts. why force any thing on any one. as soem one called seniro , i was concerned. after reading and many hrs of reaearch. it always came back there was no proof the shot or mask worked. simple science shows droplets of moisture smallere than a pin head can and will go thru the mask. as for the shots. they radicals here lulu day , maggie koffla etec all preached same. as i said then why should any oen be foreced to take a shot that was not tested with many many clinical trials. trump gave into pressure by ordering the warp speed development of the so called virus. he was wrong.. we are seeing now the affect the shot has on folks. if u have nt watch DIED SUDDENLY . that should scare the beejeebers out of any one thinking oftakeing the shot. bob , the creator of the fake ids here has always been a conrol freak. going bake to days in chats. he would insult chatters that missspelled words or didnt structure sentence correct. whether any one belived me or not. koffla and many other ids are his doing. the oen called diane or the many names . is bobs doings. thank you for ur kind words please stay safe an enjoy ur weekend THE DAYS WILL END ... Yes I agree that people shouldn't be forced into doing things. Mask makes it easy for me to have someone seeing me wear one in hopes of leaving me alone.
