Attention Pinkie !... ^!^  I am finally getting around to posting the Mediterranean Salad dressing recipe for you.  You will need Lemon juice, garlic, olive oil and sugar. For spices I use basil, oregano, black pepper, and fennel seeds.  I like to soak the spices in the lemon juice as early as I can to infuse their flavors into the dressing adding the sugar and olive oil later  This salad dressing is excellent over many greens even dandelions! It also goes on pasta, cold cuts, cheeses, and fresh tomatoes. Dipping bread into this dressing adds so much to each bite. |

A hectic day here with a stack of paperwork, house work, MUTTs and toting in some firewood. The cold front came a bi earlier than predicted accompanied with a strong breeze from the NW. We never reached the predicted high only achieving 44F ... 7 C here with cloudy skies.

That food plate looks so delicious Darter. If I had some of those fancy spices, I might try that salad dressing. I try to find my salad dressings on sale at the groc store. Sometimes get some from the food bank too.

A very good day Seren.. only 2 Oxys so far and even a good workout bringing in some firewood. Think 2 tablespoons each of sugar, lemon juice and olive oil.

Looks delish ! I haven't made that in a while. I did make a dressing for a fruit and veggie salad for a holiday and nobody was adventurous to try it ! Except me and my daughter. It was ok, but I guess fine dining wasn't for everyone ! LOL They ate all the freakin shrimp and cocktail sauce before I could even serve it !!!!! (ex and grandkid !!)
