On Their Toes  Our county Treasurer's office sent me a letter to pay the license on my Mercedes a bit in advance...... My birthday isn't until May 5th. In Iowa you have 30 days prior or after your birthday to acquire the tags for your vehicle. |

Here in Alberta, the government no longer sends out reminders to renew your vehicle registration or driver's license. It is up to the individual to keep track of when they expire and get them renewed before they do.

A very busy day business crap, paperwork, and MUTTs Inc. I managed to play cinderfella cleaning out the ashes from the fireplace with the warm temps today. Brought in a few more days worth of wood too. 53 F ... 12 C here with a light breeze allowed me some outdoors time to pick up some of Winter's crap from the yard I want to burn the ditch along the creek tomorrow if the winds allow it.

It was a pretty nice day here, sunny, mainly calm 37F. The dog took me for a long walk across town, over to the post office, then over to my place then back over to her place so she could eat her lunch. Tired me right out.

The old Dell computer I took apart yesternight to stop the power supply fan from growling at me seems to be repaired, because I hear no more noise. However, the old HP I hooked up in its place is working well and seems to be faster, so I may leave it in the office for now. It is nice and quiet and runs cooler than the Dell.
