>>> BROKEN <<<

A Broken clock gives the correct time twice a day.

This Saturday here in the USA we switch over to "Daylight Savings Time" moving our clocks ahead an hour. Recently Florida Senator Marco Rubio introduced a bill making daylight savings time permanent.

My Query is;

SHOULD WE MAKE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS PERMANENT ?

The animals on our farm live by the sun waking up in the morning and going to sleep when the sun goes down... essentially keeping us on "standard time" till we go off the farm.

Leave at standard how long has WW2 been over it was done then for The daylight Time so we could keep from turning lights on at night so early silly now

I can't speak for the items that get addressed in congress... that's Democracy in action.... so far in my humble estimation they "F" away money faster than it comes IN. I can't run my business that way or our house.

The "GREEN" view would then favor Savings Time STR

I think changing clocks twice a year is an obsolete idea having no merit in today's world. If the bi-annual change is abolished, I would vote for going on permanent daylight savings time, but calling it standard time.

It snowed and blowed here most of the day and is still snowing. Big drifts in my yard. 8" was predicted, and we received about 5" so far. The main track of the storm passed by about 100 miles to the east of us, where the cities of Medicine Hat and Maple Creek are getting hammered.

It is currently +9F, NW 20 mph, moderate snow, blowing snow and drifting snow.

Roger I agree to a strong degree. We enjoy playing golf but so often get caught by feeding time etc... leave the animals with the Sun but us with the real world.

We lucked out compared to the prediction, however, tomorrow we are to get more wet snow.
