Courthouse madness.........  I spent the better part of my afternoon in the courthouse .....................  I just love paying property taxes...............  It's as pleasurable as a root canal without anesthetic! |

Car said 35 F... 2 C on the way home.. we are tottering on the brink.... The weatherman expanded the Winter Storm area leaving us in the 5-8" area for wet heavy snow though the road surface temps may stay high enough with added salt to melt a lot of it away.... I'll just make a kettle of soup and play Martha Stewart for the day!

Yes taxes of any kind are unpleasant to say the least. I pay my property taxes by the month along with the village utility bill. It still hurts.

It was snowing very lightly but the roads were good. Lots of huge double trailer grain trucks that were kicking up the loose snow along the edge of the pavement.

The Atmospheric River that is pounding California with heavy rain is supposed to spin off snow activity here on Friday and Saturday. It is too early to make accurate depth predictions, but it is suggested to be in the 8" range by Weather Network. Currently +6F here with N wind 2 mph. It wasn't much warmer than that all day. I haven't had any soup soup in a long time just a little cans of it that come with the meals on wheels, I might get me some beef stew or something since you had to mention food 🤣🤣
