Quick Coleslaw




All you need is cabbage, small onion, lemon juice, sugar, black pepper, and Lawry's Seasoned Salt. You may also add carrots, peppers, and celery.



If you are lucky enough to have one of these Danish hand choppers for your veggies then a quick batch is just a few "chop" away.



Add your spices, sugar and lemon juice to your tastes. A little olive oil gives the veggies a special flavor and sheen.

 Mmmm This is the Mediterranean version where lemons and limes are plentiful. I also didn't mention the basil, fennel, and oregano.

 I just buy the coleslaw dressing in the store. I can't use sugar so if I need a sweetener I use Splenda.

Cold and snowy this morning. Had to shovel 7 cm of snow. The afternoon saw some hazy sunshine, and tonight there is moonshine and ice crystal precipitation. Currently -16C (+3F)

IDK if Splenda would work with the lemon / oil mix or not... you may give it a try and let me know

STR YOU can buy an onion and head of cabbage to make your own... it is easy.

We're at 32 F...0C and the wind is howling out there. Tomorrow I need to do some outside work if the rain holds off... We are not ready for the storms approaching.
