Solved!

My Packratting has paid off !

Remember I found the hub cap yesterday?

JD said to make it into a wall clock for out in the Beemer Pad! I found a clock mechanism online with large sweeping hands that I can adjust to fitting the center of the hub cap.

We're up to a balmy 48 F.... 9 C here. I've picked up the crap I needed out in the yard and found the clock parts while on break and ordered them. Trying to look into Morphine Patches for the pain before I ask my Dr.

That's a perfect plan for the old hubcap. Glad you were able to find appropriate clock parts online. Will be waiting to see the finished product.

Just 28F here today. Was nice and sunny though as I took the dog for a walk. Around sunset, the wind started from the NE, bringing with it a cold front and snow on and off for the rest of the week. Right now it is 17F and falling.

I hope the morphine patch will be a suitable solution for your pain, Bret. I feel for you.

I need to find some aluminum banding to cover the edge gap. I want to bend it without kinking it

Think the 48 F was our high... started out cloudy then the Sun broke through about noon.

Roger I don't want to become addicted ... IF they have a lower dosage so I may still function with a reasonable amount of pain relief. I do need something besides handfuls of Oxys.

STR I spent some time hand sanding out some damaged areas on it and will need to repaint it.
