For your fridges sake, I am glad the ice maker decided to start working again. That hammer could have could have given the fridge a black eye.

I used the same hammer threat on my desktop computer this morning. It started making strange growling noises as I was shutting in down yesternight. I took it out to the shop and fist attacked attacked it with an air gun at 130 psi. The hammer was hanging on the wall above the workbench, and I made the computer aware of it. I brought it back in the house and plugged it in.....same growling noise, only louder. I said, "OK Dell, you have taken your last breath.", and I headed outside with it to the garbage cart. It shrieked and told me it would be good, and to give it another chance. It didn't want to be replaced with an HP. I relented and brought it back in the house, plugged it in, and it is purring softly.

It got to sunny 35F here today with a SW breeze, after a foggy start. It is now 28F, light SW breeze, mostly cloudy. I let the dog take me for a walk after lunch, then I came back and folded the laundry. After a pork chop in a bun for supper, I sat down to look at the TV news and fell asleep for 98 minutes.

Roger by the time I got done with it... there'd be more than a black eye.

A few bangs and Bob's your uncle, fixed just like that. That's how I fix things. It works sometimes.

<Maudie... just the threat of what I was going to do to it caused it to begin working properly....
