Flo

Think Flo from TVland. That is Theresa who did my hair and nails for many years. Her husband passed a few months ago and we attended the funeral.

She called and said she needed to getaway and came up for dinner. I made grilled pineapple ham steaks, mashed potatoes with French onion dip along with her favorite Candied Carrots. Dessert was homemade French Vanilla ice cream

JD went out to the horses and she tagged along. It is 30 F here. We are going to play Chinese checkers when they come back in. IDK if I will have any chat time tonight or not just depends on when she gets tired. That China I used was my Grandma's good adults ONLY dishes Please remember my blog FDR / Fala lower on the list.

It's 02:00 "Flo" has gone up to the guest suite after innumerable games of Chines Checkers. I am chemo sick, my back and guts hurt. I am getting over medicated so I can get to sleep. Nighty Nite from North Central Iowa.

Glad U all had a great time ! Feel better soon ! It's almost 11:30am here and I'm just finishing breakfast. Dogs had some eggs too. Little old girl wants hash too, but they can't have that, has onions in it

Sounds like you had a nice visit with Theresa, some great meals together, and even played multiple rounds of Chinese Checkers. You did good to stay up until the wee hours of the morning, even though you were suffering. I commend you for making potato pancakes for breakfast. I love those.

It was a nice windy Chinook day here reaching 41F. The dog took me for a walk straight to my house and the fridge where she knew I was storing a fresh pork chop bone for her. After gnawing on it for 1/2 hr, she ran home to tell her owner how good it was, after which she went to sleep on my lap. Such is the life of old Hungr. LOL>

I peeled and cooked extra potatoes for dinner just so we'd have plenty for potato pancakes. I served them with French Onion sour cream dip which she just loved.

That's not such a bad life Roger. It is Tuesday here and I don't think we cracked the 40 F mark today so I kept a low fire going and just puttered through the house I have a frame to hang up on the wall... a French 5 franc banknote from the late 50's . I am just loafing JD never said what he wanted for dinner so I am assuming a steak, baked potato and some veggie as long as it is not LEAFY GREEN CRAP.
