NOT Telling !  My crack legal team of Dewey, Cheatham, & Howe warned me that I better place a disclaimer at the beginning of my blog for those who have not eaten yet. > > > PROCEED at your own peril. > > > > > >  I bought some Baby Bella Mushrooms!  I washed and sliced some.  I sauteed them in a mix of virgin olive oil and butter with some Lawrey's Seasoned salt, basil, and oregano. I gave the mix a gentile spritz of white wine to complete the sauce.  I bought a Caesar Salad kit for some fresh greens. The sandwich is slices of that incredible Pineapple Ham on a marble rye. ( forgive me... I had to try some mushrooms before I remembered to take a picture ... opps My Bad ! ) |

My lite Summery meal is in denial of the nasty bitter cold weather going on outside. Ruby has gotten up and gone outside for a moment to do her duties. Quite a change from the wee hours this morning... musta been the chicken soup and your prayers... Thank you. Seigie is enough loss for awhile. Currently it is 25 F... -3 C not sleeting anymore just hanging easy as the wind howls outside. Our flag is shredded.

I don't mind fungus as long as it's mixed in with something that drowns it a bit don't like it by itself but that does look yummy nice little snack too 😂😂

I'm not a mushroom person ! Love everything else though ! When Ruby doesn't want to eat or drink.. give her a little bit of Pedialyte. This way Ruby gets vitamins and minerals and helps her not be dehydrated

I often buy "fungus" and fry them in some butter and sometime a bit of flour.. I remember as a kid asking Mom about mushrooms, she told me it was a fungus. Last I was gonna eat fungus  amp; We had learned about fungus in school... I still chuckle thinking about it when we eat them.
