Indentured Servitude  There are times when I wonder IF Indentured Servitude ever ended.  Today I went through the house cleaning the floral bouquets around the house, dipping them in soapy water, rinsing them off, allowing them to dry, then putting them back.  The chandelier above my desk was filthy! I decided I'd clean it too  POOR PUMPKIN ! I decided to hang the Chandelier on a hook in Pumpkin's turf in the pantry to wash it.  I wet down the chandelier with clear water to get the worst of the dust & dirt. Then Windex for the deep cleaning; the crude just drips off. With a soft clean towel I dab up the drips and turn a window fan on to dry it.  Pumpkin HATED IT! When he went up to investigate the puddle on the floor... Water DRIPPED on his Head!  With the cleaned chandelier back up after several hours drying you may see the difference. |

Just finished dinner. I made a cheesy gravy with bacon,onion, and sweet red pepper over baked potatoes. We reached a balmy 36 F... 3 C. MUTTs Inc "helped" me bring in some firewood. A busy day doing projects I'd put off that needed attending to.

Just finished dinner. I made a cheesy gravy with bacon,onion, and sweet red pepper over baked potatoes. We reached a balmy 36 F... 3 C. MUTTs Inc "helped" me bring in some firewood. A busy day doing projects I'd put off that needed attending to.

I see a noticeable difference in the before and after pictures of the chandelier. Good job, Bret. Poor Pumpkin; he obviously doesn't like water and would be horrified if you tried to give him a bath, LOL!

The special gravy over baked spuds sounds like a great meal. It was 51F here again today, and is now at 33F, calm, mostly clear. Sounds like your weather is improving from the Arctic blast you suffered through lately.

I had to revise my bankruptcy bookkeeping paperwork today because I found I had misplaced 2 receipts. I then resubmitted it to the trustee. I barked the dog and meowed the cats, also cleaning their litter box. The cats' family returned home from their ski vacation about an hour ago, so I am happy that.
