Crackpot  Tonight we had Crackpot Crockpot Barbecued Ribs for dinner. Simmered ALL Day they practically fell off the bone.  I had my baked potato cooled down to an edible temp with some cottage cheese!  MUTTs Inc love it when we eat like Henry VIII tossing the bones over our shoulder! |

That old crock pot has earned it's keep doing tender ribs, fiery chili, and succulent stews. I don't think it got above 6 F ... -14 C here the whole dang day. I swept off the step and tossed around some ice melt. I've just been a busy beaver since I woke up cleaning the main level. I have an insurance nurse coming to make certain I am still alive.

I love my crock pot ! Have had a few in quite a number of years. My grandkid loves it when I make beef chunks (different ways) , she calls it the meats ! Sometimes I make it like pot roast and sometimes shredded or BBQ style

Ahh, the old crock pot. I love mine too, and use it often. I even picked up another one at the local thrift shop, so I can make double doses of goodness.

I need to cook up some more ribs so I have bones for the little doggie. I have a pork chop bone to give her, but it was so cold today, that she didn't want to walk over here. She got half a block and turned and ran back to her house so she could war up her feet. After a low of -13F, it got to a blistering +3F this afternoon, It is now -4F, with a forecast of +14F tomorrow.

I celebrated my victory over the kitchen sink countertop repair in style tonight. Had a special dinner of turkey, cranberries, stuffing and mashed spuds. Just like Xmas. Hot chocolate and ice cream for dessert.
