From Ruby

Ruby is our big fluffy Great Pyrenees who is *ten* years old... extending her lifespan beyond the norm. Today outside was a "Puppy day" Running about eating snow.

Every day is a gift

Live life so every day is filled... not wasted.

I played with MUTTs Inc in the backyard before taking them into the shop for a clean up sweep job. Cloudy with the wind picking up from the NW 28 F ~~~ -2 C. Next week is a major drop in the temps.

HAS ANYONE HEARD FROM SPARKLEFIT ?

Great looking dog. Yes, unfortunately Great Pyrenees are not long lived dogs.

I hope Sparkleflit is okay and just taking a break.

Not certain what happened to Sparklefit... MIA. Yes Ruby is a sweet old girl she just keeps hanging on for us.

Good old Ruby; such a pretty and playful dog. Glad you all had fun in the white outdoors.

It was 37F here today under overcast sky, light NW breeze. We got a half inch of snow in the morning. I did laundry in the morning, walked the dog after lunch and went to the post office. Then I crawled under the kitchen sink to assess what needs to be done to keep the faucet attached to the countertop, which has rotted out. I made a plan but now have to get some plumbing parts before I can execute the plan. Next week is going to be rally cold, so a good time to do some indoor repairs.

WE are to turn off way cold too. I FIXED so many things around the house today that were bugging me! Started out v28 F the the snow and wind picked up.

Sparklelefit lives of Vancouver Island but I have never met her. It is strange that she hasn't made an appearance of late.
There are a lot of dogs in my neighborhood who have been adopted from different countries. They are mostly street dogs and you really don't know what you are getting as some of those dogs have been treated pretty badly.

Ruby looks like a really friendly and playful dog. I can picture her having fun playing in the snow.

Hope for the best with Sparklefit. We rescued all our dogs. Rosie took the longest to let her personality come through. Ruby just jumped up and kissed me when we first met... she's very forward! Ronnie was much more subtle and just leaned against me with those puppy eyes. Together they make MUTTs Inc here in our house.

Ruby bounds through the snow as if she belongs out in the drifts. The other dogs are here with me but Ruby just came wanting out so I am waiting for her to return.

My dogs hated the snow. But for a reason though. I had 3 Dachshunds. Low tummys ! LOL I had a black and tan coonhound too. She would go out but was not a fan of snow. I had a black lab rottie mix and she loved the snow.

All our dogs have been larger Mmmm. Heidi our Rotti would pull me on the snowboard or skateboard.... Everything was fine till a cat or squirrel showed up.
