Sunshiny !  After being deprived of Sunlight for many days by winter's clouds we finally have a SUN SHINY DAY ! Also I have not seen a Mosquito in WEEKS! |

A bitter cold start to the day 7 F ~~~ -13 C the gas furnace has kicked in to keep the chill off assisting the fireplace. I've polished some silver this morning while listening to the tunes. Need to go up and finish lunch Tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches. Mmm mmm GOOD!

A nice bright sun shiny day is lovely. Today was grey and gloomy here, i hate days like that.

While you are enjoying the sunshine and cold, it was 45F here today, light SW wind, Chinook overcast. We are to plunge to -5F by the weekend and remain very cold until at least Feb 20.

It is getting close to month-end and I am very distressed over budgeting. I had a splitting stress headache this morning and took some ibuprofen to get me through the pain and the rest of the day.

I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich with a salad for my lunch, then walked the dog on sheer ice, and had homemade turkey soup and tuna salad for supper. Some banana bread covered in apple sauce for dessert.

We're up to a whopping 19 F and back cloudy again with a clipper to bring us more snow. It's 42 here for the moment, lots of rain and too warm for it to freeze down here by me. The rain is about ready to stop for a couple hours, so I'll feed horses early tonight with a little extra to hold them over till tomorrow morning.
