Rummaging Find


Saturday I didn't get much time rummaging, however, I ,made a cute little find. This decorative teapot will find a home on a shelf somewhere in the house.

 It's been a cloudy, foggy day where we didn't get above 24 F ~~~ -4 C I've kept the fireplace going. the whole day to keep off the cold that seems to permeate into every corner. I sat down for a moment then slept away most of the afternoon.

 I have to say, that is a cute little teapot to put on the display shelf.

 It was 32F here most of the day with on and off snow. About one inch total. Made walking on the ice covered sidewalks and streets extremely treacherous, even when wearing my ice cleats. I walked the dog after lunch and gave her a big pork chop bone which she chewed on for an hour. It is currently 19F at 9:20 pm, SW 2 mph, clear. Supposed to get to 39F tomorrow.

 OK Bret. No problem. Hope you can get some good rest. I am busy doing a January month-end budget, and hooking up a scanner to my computer.

It is 03:33 and Rosie & Ronnie needed OUT. I had leg cramp so no big deal... I have little pink pills to take care of that.. Sky cleared and temps dropping like a rock~~~ 8 F ~~~ -13 C !!!! Tossed another oak log in the fireplace. Rossie wanted bacdk IN ... back to bed

 Awwwww, so cute!

I have a little tea set that was my Mom's. I should take a pic of it and post it. The cups are tiny that go with the teapot and I'm pretty sure it's an antique. The set was made in England I think? Been awhile since I really looked at it, it's tucked away in a cabinet.

Get it out and use it. What good is it put away? Cultivate a desire for it with a grandchild of having tea with Grandma; inthat's inheritance will keep it in the family for another generation.
