Packratt 4.0

Today was Packratt Bretty day.

An older couple at one of my rentals bought a new loveseat but had no way to dispose of the old one. I took one look and said YA!~ Brown leather , great construction, I put it in the Beemer Pad. The old couch I had I will donate to the Ladies Charity in town.

They even had a super foot rest.

MUTTs Inc now have a bed to keep an eye on things in the back yard.... Ruby tends to grab it first!

I had to go to Farm & Fleet for some equine supplies JD wanted. There in the driveway leaving the business laid a can of spray paint with it's lid still on. "ODD" I thought... I got out and a can of High Temp Blue paint ! Brand NEW ! FULL ! never been used.

My older renter who had the heart attack last night is doing well and may be released soon. JD brought another skid loader of wood up that I have not brought in. Truck said 46 F... 8 C here with rain OFF& ON the whole day. We are to remain above freezing but have 6-8" of snow on Wednesday. I'd tossed chicken and dressing in the oven with some French Cut Green beans for dinner.. No dessert yet just too worn out but I am thinking ice cream... I will get the HOT FUDGE recipe posted soon just worn out here for a bit.

That is one fine loveseat and footrest. It's way better than the 48 yr old sofa with broken springs that I have. MUTTs Inc will happily occupy it when they are allowed in the Beemer pad. It's only big enough for Ruby though.

Great find on the can of paint in the parking lot. Someone put it on the roof of their car to unlock the door, then forgot to bring it inside when they entered. I've seen that happen so many times with various newly purchased items. I remember a case where a baby in a car seat was left on the roof and luckily kept from falling off until another motorist flagged down the distracted mother as she was driving down the street.

I wish I could get my used couch to you. It is perfectly good .... Just too big Roger to open the door on the Mercedes door to get out easily.

Happy to hear that the renter who had a heart attack is doing well. That could have had a bad outcome if not treated early.

It was foggy all day with the temp stuck at 25F. Still the same tonight. 30% freezing fog and/or flurries tomorrow. I had more meatloaf for supper with apple sauce over oat circles and a slice of cheddar for dessert. Now need a hot chocolate. There is nothing in my TV tonight due to American holiday football.

Good Gawd so glad the baby was not injured or killed. I/we already have a use for the stray paint! I may haul the metal lawn furniture into the shop to get them a fresh coat of paint before Spring.

Had she called 911 rather than Martin the help would have gotten there way sooner. I am going into the LOBBY now come in and chat!

Glad the lady is doing ok ! Nice piece of furniture. Leather is great but needs to be maintained to keep it from cracking
