On Line Shopping

My heart fluttered when I walked back from the mailbox into the house. I'd won a bid on EEEbay that would make JD's eyes roll if he knew what I paid.

I knew I wanted to view this coin frequently so............... It's time for the Martha Stewart touch! I found a frame then a small marbled grey paper.

Here it is; I deeply regret no matter how I tried I was unable to get a decent photo to turn out to post in here. However, you can make out the heraldic eagle on the back.

This is the coin from the net. Mine the silver is more toned.

There are *two variations of the dies used to stamp the coins. Mine is the pointed "6"

Also what caused my intense interest; The olive branch does not go through the eagle's talon.

Damn nice coin, Bret. Some very interesting variations that you pointed out. It's an old timer for sure. Good bidding.

I am impressed that N Central Iowa has such a modern mail delivery van, and it's zero emissions too.

Anxious to hear how the new ice cream maker works, and how difficult it is to clean.

It was 41F here today. I washed the van out in the sun, which created a big patch of ice in front of the garage door. I wanted to get the salt off it. I never drive the van, but the neighbor is using to go to work and he gets its dirty.

I love buffalo burgers, but can only manage to r]eat one of them along with some fries. I'm surprised JD can eat six of them. Must be really good, just like everything from Bretty's Kitchen.

The old days, one could rely on mail delivery. I ordered a sweater online in October 2022. I was notified that it was out of stock and had the option to cancel my order or wait another four weeks. Wanting the item and not being in a hurry, I decided to wait. End of December I received an email "Congratulations, your order has been delivered"..... But nothing was delivered here. Where is the package? I am giving up!
Glad, you got what you wanted..... enjoy the ice cream!

Tonight Hershey's chocolate ice cream from the freezer. The mail serve sux. Ever since they took it away from the railroads and gave it to the airlines. Trucks take or city mail to Des Moines where it is "sorted" then sent right back on a truck. Why the hell the city mail LEAVES to be stamped and sent back?
