Monstrosity !  POOR RONNIE !  He was chased from room to room by a MONSTER !  Ok...... Mean & Nasty Bretty dug out the old carpet cleaner and did the Office, TV room, and the Parlor before Max & Alex get here. |

That Carpet Cleaner is probably older than I am! It came with the house when JD's mom moved down to the "little house" switching with us. WINDY cold -3 F... -19 C... they had to close I-35 so many car accidents. Neither of us ventured on the roads. JD's gassed up the snowmobiles for later.

LOL, what a big baby!! My Mom's little Sheltie used to attack her vacuum cleaner when she used it. He'd bite it and try to drag it off every time! She had to make sure he was outside when she cleaned her house, or there would be a tug of war!

LOL. Yeah, most dogs don't like machines that disrupt their daily activities and change the smell of the floor surface that they are used to travelling across. Ronnie does look a little distressed alright. I chased the vacuum sucker through my shack today and wet mopped the floors. That was after shoveling 5" of new snow, 0F with a brutally cold SE wind. I also cooked big bird and made soup from the turkey bone-pickin's. I had a busy day. I now don't have to get up early on Xmas day to start the turkey cooking.

It's supposed to be above freezing tomorrow and Xmas, then really melty and windy on Box Day. I don't want wind because all the snow we have will pile up in deep, hard drifts.

Are Max and Alex going to be able to fly out of Chicago before Xmas? From what I hear here, Chicago is basically "shut down", and could stay that way for days. I do hope they can make it to your farm sometime during the hollerdays.

When I was growing up we had this beautiful, well trained tri-coloured Collee that would beg to be vacuumed.....Whenever she heard the vacuum she would come along, all excited happy, running around and around and hopping and barking until you detached the attachment....When you had done her back, she would lie down and roll in ecstasy as you vacuumed her belly....I havent thought of that in years.....best dog ever.

lol, when I want the doggos to leave me alone while I cook, I put the vacuum in the door way...they sit and stare like it will bite
