Been a heck of a day here. We got a full day of work in the snow didn't start coming down until about 4 PM We're in where it's warm, safe, and sound. We are in for a full blown BLIZZARD !!! 3-6" of snow blown by wind gusts to exceed 50 MPH

That's a cute Santa joke. I love the expression on his face as he guzzles the milk. LOL!

3 to 6" of snow with 50 mph winds can toss up some pretty big drifts and close down roads. Do take care guys. I hope it blows over quickly so Max and Alex can fly out from Chicago before Xmas.

I went to the city today to do some banking and snag a few grocs . It's hard to find any produce anywhere. It is in short supply, as there is a shortage of truck drivers to bring it up from the south. The yellow taxi with 607,000 on the odometer performed flawlessly in the cold weather and both the front and rear heaters worked to keep me warm. The max outside temp was -28C (-18F), with a wind chill of -43C (-45F). There was light snow and drifting snow obscuring the road surface. The city streets were solid ice. Driving in the city was frightening for me today, and I am not usually frightened easily by driving conditions. I guess I am getting old.

Better if you can stay home when it is this cold and nasty. We are shut down for a few days... I will try to keep things posted in here
